i wonder if you actually need this disclaimer or if it's safe to assume we'll take that as a given?

Is anybody up to date with this company?

Their current earner (they have other apples in the basket) is a supposedly unique process for recycling aluminium smelter waste into 100% re-usable products. They have contracts in place to do this & have bought an existing treatment plant which they will upgrade over the next 6 months whilst still operating it at 40% capacity producing $230k profit EBIT. After the upgrade s/b producing $8.6m p.a. EBIT. Also in negotiation to set up plants in USA & Europe. Being the ASX the usual spin offs to other companies owned by the directors.

Approx 90m shares - trading @ 27c Oppies due 2012 @ 20c

MHM ... expecting this one to be in traders' sights, as several positive time

with July 2010 and february 2011, looking very strong ... :)

More later.

if Yogi's predictions are anything to go by then loading up now would be a good move at current levels of around 23c with his mid June positive prediction.
This stock has an awful lot going for it mc less than $20m and with 4 strings to its bow and $3m cash in the kitty
- The aluminium slag recycling business which is already profitable and will generate $8m pa once the plant upgrade is completed in Sep
- Potential deal for their silica with smelter proposals in discussion
- african gold mining jv
- tasmanian mining exploration

Current price is steal just on the returns on the slag project in tasmania alone.

Expect a major rerating at the earlier of either a) Silica smelter developments or b) recycling upgrade completion in September.

Just a small point but the aluminium slag project is in Victoria, not Tasmania.

It processes waste from the Alcoa Point Henry smelter, near Geelong.

I looked at MHM a few months ago. A bit wary of the fact that the technology for the recycling process was owned by a couple of directors of MHM who licence it to the company. Nothing wrong with that I suppose, except a possible conflict of interest?

MHM has so much going for it doesn't it. I hold here and await further news from our management.

Know very little about this company but, in passing, it strikes me that Hungary could have made good use of a process that "recycles aluminium smelter waste into 100% re-usable products." And, observing what has happened there, I have been wondering what happens to the waste at NZ's (only) aluminium smelter at Tiwai Point?

Contract with American aluminium company Smelter Service Corporation
(SSC) to conduct joint feasibility study for salt slag processing

• SSC produces 90,000 tonnes of salt slag per annum, owns a 350,000 tonne single
purpose salt slag landfill which may be suitable for reprocessing
• Alreco (MHM’s subsidiary) and SSC to discuss potential joint venture for the
SSC salt slag reprocessing and landfill reclamation project
• Alreco and SSC to discuss potential partnership throughout the United States
where over 1,000,000 tonnes of salt slag is produced each year
• Agreement with SSC is in addition to ongoing discussions with Alcoa USA and
expected that outcomes with both parties would be complementary
• Feasibility study scheduled to conclude by 30 June 2011
• MHM to raise $12,000,000 through private placement of 12,000,000 new fully
paid ordinary shares at $1.00 per share to help fund the feasibility study, rapid
expansion into the US market and for working capital

Court case and Geelong building announced around the time of the Japan Quake, so was ignored - it seems people are now waking up as MHM is pushing above pre quake levels.

Up very strong today - possibly a USA expansion notice coming as well?

Happy to hold.

MHM is taking its story on the road today, with a series of investor presentations across Aussie.

They have timed this with the building of the first salt slag plant/pond in Geelong, and possible announcements coming from the US.

Huge hype on MHM, if this aluminium project really takes off this one will rocket.

Should be an interesting one to follow over the next month or so – The SP is trending upwards steeply from the 80c range, up another 5% today at 1.220

MHM getting closer to their goal of entering the ASX300

Trending up constantly now – must be some sort of buy signal for the TA’s..

I’m thinking it’s a combination of the investor preso and recent RBS $4.27 valuation.

This stock is taking off having taken a beating over the last year by the markets despite quietly lining all the ducks up in a row. They have is the space of a just over a week they have announced 3 separate US contracts and announcement any day of their first processing plant in the US to meet these. The Australian plant is now hitting its straps and generating good profits and cash flow enable them to build the first (or many) plants in North America. This is a major growth story in the making and there's also the silica which at the moment seems like a sleeper but is none the less being progressed behind the scenes.
