I'm helping my sister-in-law move house, so will probably be thirsty come 4pm.
I hope to be there a bit later. Had a chat to Shrewdy last night. The Poker King might come down. I plan to go to the Good Oil conference in Perth and catch up with Peter Munachen even though he isn't presenting. Oiler and I had diner with him in Sydney back in March. ( NWE ). See you Saturday.

Would love to come and check out NZ and the meeting, but I live in QLD and have a few circumstances.

Who ever started this thread though should perhaps change the Title to the current date you have set as it seems confusing with the past date title, imo.

I didn't play at Datai. The monkeys steal your balls and anyway the fairways were too narrow for me. Had tempura prawns on the beach at the resort ( the crayfish was too expensive ).

Would love to attend the meeting but we won't be back in Chch until after the Good Oil conference in Perth on 5-6 September. Might have to come back earlier if there is another GFC.

Giday....I mean no offence to anyone...and I really really rate and appreciate SC input ...re CUE ...I have 130k ......but I understand that he went to Vegas.....then sold CUE ...to fund some direct marketing thingy.... so what can we take from this...Im not sure...are his postings meant for sharetrader...or more one of someone who has aspirations known only to himself....if so I wish him the very best...

I just spoke to the Riccarton Club on 66 Wharenui Road Riccarton, we could sign in as a bunch of guests and use a corner of there Parkview bar on Saturday 25th....The Riccarton Club is a large area without lots of loud music, room to move drink and talk turkey...Lets say 5.00pm onwards???

We had a look at the charts of NSE and BRU and agreed there was some disparity and that there was room for NSE to do a bit of catch up.

Also we were all buoyed by the fact that both companys had low numbers of shares on issue. NSE 294m BRU 234m. Might have to get some.

Pity I missed the Casino visit.
