Hey, Noob here, just wondering, does anyone know if the warehouse has any debt and how much? cheers, this is also open for just general discussion about the warehouse

I had a good look around the Lyall Bay store to see if they had any debt but couldn't see any on sale .... not unusual for things to be out stock though so I'll have look again next week

Found some good money boxes though - priced from $2.99

Actually it gets even better than that. There is an existing thread on the sister 'sharechat' forum devoted entirely to Warehouse debt. Of course it isn't debt as such that is ever an issue. Many companies deliberately engineer their balance sheet to incorporate debt as part of prudently gearing their shareholder capital. It is the ability to repay the debt - if required - that matters.

Yes WHS was on a roll back then when things were heading south

Suppose dividends have more than covered the $1.67 capital loss since then if Doyle had bought and held since then
