On the NZX Home web page (http://www.nzx.com/home) click on view more market announcements

Scroll down the announcements it arrived at 8.30am ...click

click again on PDF attachment.

Up pops the file ...it says page 1 of 1 but ignore that as it is the first page of 14 just carry on like normal when reading a PDF file .

..don't try and click the attachment at the bottom of page 1 it won't work its just BS .....a trap for the sleepy minds ...yeah it fooled me as I tried to click it:(:p.

Alternative to the above walk through... try this shortcut straight to the PDF announcement http://file.nzx.com/000/597/3690597.pdf ...it may work

Cheers

What a CR@P of a co GLL IMHO has turned into, dont know why its still listed, should be liquidated and ANY funds NETT returned to share holders except some of the assets appear to be UNSALABLE.
Is this how GPG will look in 5 years time ? (if not sooner ) ? !!!

Or irrational exuberance? All penny stocks usually go crazy towards the end. Are we there yet?

Penny stock huh....lots of pennies in this baby :)

Most of the Total Issued 1,368,063,633 shares are locked up tight ... only about 13% of GLL shares are liquid ..only about 4 million are traded each day on the Singapore Exch

Market Capitalisation: NZ$1,217,576,633 (@89) IF GLL was still a registered NZ company re:capialisation it would rank as the 6th biggest listed company

http://i458.photobucket.com/albums/qq306/Hoop_1/top10NZX.png (http://s458.photobucket.com/user/Hoop_1/media/top10NZX.png.html)

EPS of USc5.9..... taking out pension exch rates revaluations and the other yada yada accounting stuff etc the incomeps is about half that of the 5.9
Total Assets (2012)...US$1,639.6M
Net Assets (2012).....US$1,117.3M ..................1,368,063,633 ........US$ 0.81/s...NZ$ 0.95

Singapore close at Sc93 (NZc88) and NZX close at NZc89 on Friday still shows GLL in relation to its Asset backing as undervalued...

As you can see with your mouse pointer my charts and diagrams are alive.......

It seems photobucket has opened up my whole libary history of everything I have ever uploaded for the whole world to see ...it's seems it is public domain atm whether I like it or not ...you can copy/paste, manipulate or whatever...

A lesson learn't for some about storing stuff on line

I'm not entirely happy about this breach I have not copyrighted anything but if anyone here wants to copy and paste to other websites it would be nice and respectful if you could acknowledge who created it..

Feel free to browse my photobucket account...while it lasts........ Rated GA :) (sorry there's no raunchy stuff)

Thanks for that, Hoop!.

I was not referring to the company itself but more the SP. From previous experience, most stocks under $1 do get a lot of attention from new entrants near the top.

But what do you think? are we near yet?

I don't honestly know CB ....I'm at a loss why the market has decided to shed it's discount to asset value effectively de-risking this stock...That was the reason with my first post trying to find out if anyone knew of something... I would've thought a speeding ticket would have been issued by now .....strange really

As at close Wednesday 24th the money flow indicators showed a drop due to the 2 day volume spike and profit takers coming in but overall it's all good so far. Its been in an uptrend since 15 November 2012 and has accelerated upwards this last month.

It was flat at the close today (25th) at 93Sc in Singapore with back to "normal" volume

GLL have given notice that they intend to delist from the NZX on the 27th June due to the small number of shareholders, as we now hold only about 4% of the share on issue. If unsold by then they will be transferred to the Singapore Exchange.

Unsure as what my next move will be, as GLL owes me a lot of money (excess of $10,000, a holder from the Brierley days. Do I sell before they delist, or do I hang on and hope there will be a takeover bid, at better price either way I will have to take a hit, or put them in the bottom draw and forget about them, something for the grandchildren. Early Jan. last year they were trading around $0.63 closed on Friday at $0.80. NTA is $0.89.

Sell. The FIF process is probably not worth the effort if these are all the offshore shares you own. If you are just waiting around to reduce your loss then you are missing out on making a profit on something else.

Ex GPG and Gll holder.

Waikare - why are you still holding. If there isn't a good reason, then sell before it gets a lot more difficult. A 10% discount to NTA sounds pretty good to me.

Harvey S, brought most of them in the late 80s when they were trading between $5.0 and $6.0. my average cost per share works out at $2.68 dividends included $2.09. Selling now is an option but to recover my $10,000I would have to reinvest in a sure winner………

To be a blunt this is a ridiculous attitude.
You should never, never, never, never hold onto a share purely because you have lost money on it.

It is all about future expectations, if you have a reasonable expectation, based on research or the current trend that the price will increase then hold it, but sell if that belief is proved wrong.

But if there is something to invest in that you believe has a good chance of a better return then sell up and invest in that instead, and don't look back.

Normally in a long term uptrend. a disciplined long term investor would average up in the dips...not sell!!
GLL has been a solid performer of the 5 year old bull market NZX cycle..It has gone up +182% (at todays 79c price) to that of the NZX50 +97% (at todays 4769).

There has been unusually high volume traded before Xmas (since 11 December)..and before the announcement (23 December)...
Was there previous warning on the NZX delisting?

Disc:..own GLL shares (Singapore register).
