BWX takeover target apparently ...private equity some say

Share price year lows so a good deal for whoever ....still higher multiples that Trilogy got but Trilogy was a bit of a dog though

However; it's a bit hard to pile into BWX...as it's in a trading halt

Things just got worse for BWX and the market has packed a real sad ....DOWN 40%

Trilogy would have been suffering as well I reckon do we should be forever grateful for the great job the Trilogy Board did in getting such a great price for the company

Some reckon we were screwed but I'm still convinced we got heaps more than its worth

Hmm - maybe. but just remind me - who was responsible to bring the company originally into this position?

Wasn't that the same geniusses who raised capital ways over their sell price and afterwards sold the company still above value (as you say)?

Genius wealth destroyers ...

I don’t think the Bakers would say they lost anything in Trilogy ...probably did very very well over the years

Same genius doing much the same with Turners eh

Depending on when one got in, TIL was a great investment or a dud.

Based upon what happened with BWX today, the price that the directors got was sensational!

What if the takeover offer never came?
Would it have been right then?

Read through the thread and a takeover was always in the offing - Baker boys modus operandi.

Balance has seemingly reassured us it must be in the works! (like it 'obviously' was for TIL)
I'd accept $4

Board would recommend an offer at 290 I reckon

Big premium to current price ...but even at that it must be seen by any potential buyers as a real dog

All joking apart, those of us with Opus (OIC) learnt the lesson NOT to read too much into negative comments which ignore the fundamental attractiveness of a company ripe to be acquired.

No warning whatsoever and the takeover at a huge premium was made. Too late to try and get set.

Takeover target.

Still take an interest in BWX to see what may have happened to Trilogy

What a disaster BWX is

Last October f19 guidance was ebitda to be broadly in line with F18 of $40m

Just before Christmas lowered to $27m to $32m

In February fine tuned to $27m to $29m

Today they said it’s going to be $20m to $22m

All a bit of a joke eh
