I have found a cheap and efficient way to purchase these.
In NZ you need to hold in nominees account, I am charged $50 per script per annum.
Alliance savings trust in the UK offer a dealing account and no nominee charge. You can buy a large range of funds and shares, charge is 12 pounds per transaction size of purchase unlimited + stamp duty. You can use your debit card to pay. Are there any fish hooks? Makes NZ brokers look expensive.
