Thanks to shasta for bring GRM to my attention have spent a few hours of study and because of the recent sell off now holding a sizable holding..
Why I haven't keep on the sidelines and waited

GRM is valued by the market at round 7-8mill Micro cap

-My #1 fav asset of GRM is their 3,000ha land holding at El rodeo-MEXICO> with 9 good areas of value so far -------

---from the 100yr+ old Silver mine area at Espiritu Santo >>>>
>recent Best chip samples results "4.3m @ 3,830g/t Ag"(thats 3.8kg per ton )
•Significant Zn to 9.26%, Cu to 2.67%
•Four veins sampled. All mineralised, open all directions & at depth
•Drilling underway(we will here later this month on the shallow drills)

also some 1,500g/t-400g/t results so far at the other areas near by all open at depth & direction

--These para's are from a link Macduff put up on the silver thread got me very keen on finding a ASX play with Mexico interests--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Mexico does have byproduct silver from some of its gold mines, but the majority is produced from primary silver mines. This country is blessed with several geological structures that contain numerous high-grade silver systems. And some of the world’s purest silver mines can be found within Mexico’s robust silver belts.
This geology supports Mexico’s modern-day silver rush, and this country’s fairly-accurate historical compass is guiding the way. The old mining-industry adage of “the best place to find [silver] is where it is already known to exist” is all too true in Mexico’s case. And today’s geologists know full well that many of Mexico’s historic mining operations may have only scratched the surface of their silver deposits.

Now with a micro cap how much experience would you usually find in management I will have to look through the mgmt at SVL,AYN I know ARD don't have any Geo's in mgmt which doesn't mean there not good or anything but you have to be impressed with GRM lot

-Dr Miguel Miranda
MSC PhD
Exploration Manager – Mexico

Dr Miranda has more than 36 years of professional experience as a minerals geologist in Mexico. He has worked for companies including BHP, MIM, US Borax, Teck-Cominco, Penoles, and Linear Gold, and since late 2007 has been with Minas GRC as Vice President of Exploration, Latin America. He has worked for the Mexican Government Mineral Resources group and as a professor at various Mexican universities. He is an eminent geologist in Mexico, where he was awarded Economic Geologist of the Year in 2008 by the Mexican Geological Society and the Chamber of Mines

knows his stuff I'm sure he does...
then also you have

Glenn Beere
B.SC (Hons) Geology, F AUSIMM
Exploration Manager

Mr. Beere has 30 years of geological experience with both Government organisations and within the exploration and mining industry.

And

Frank Bunting
B.Sc. (Hons.), Dip Ed
Technical Adviser and Co-founder

With 30 years experience in the industry, Mr. Bunting spent 26 years with BHP Billiton Exploration. Mr Bunting is a geologist with specialist exploration skills for BHT, IOCG, gold, and nickel deposits. He has had significant roles in several major discoveries around the world

Now how many micro cap explorers have this much experience in mgmt very few so I think if their is a mother lode of high grades in old mexico these guys will find it.

Always better to have an Exploration Manager with experience in the relevant metal & in the same country as the project, rather than a pack of elderly mostly white, balding men from the curved shirt factory, back in Perth ;)

PS, Check out the historical silver grades on the new PEX thread

yeah PEX looks to be sitting on a very nice silver asset if AMU would hurry up and get taking over I'd have 60k+ to invest I would like to invest most of it in the energy sector-- COE,ACB,BUR,SSN etc but may with some other funds look into PEX futher

Silver down a decent chunk overnight, if you are a believer in the story could be one to watch for an entry around 6c today. Can't hurt to have some precious metal exposure in anyone's portfolio I reckon.

Poster on HC In talking with overall upbeat MD believes the drill results will be released very soon --I'm hoping I'm going be as up beat after the announcement
could well be a perfect alignment for GRM with Silver looking very likely to break $40 in April and down through the 38:1 Silver gold ratio at the very least this would mean a nice new all time high through 10c It really is a great time to ann. high grade Silver results

Hey jbmurc,

I emailed Simon today to get an update on upcoming drill results.

Here is what he said.....

FYI the process is a little long winded as the core goes to a lab in Guadalara City (Mexico) for sample preparation then the pulps go to Vancouver for assay.

We had some delays initially with cutting the core, but we have three holes in the lab (Vancouver) now, another two on the way and another one nearly cut. So we hope for some numbers very soon, then a steady stream.

Well, decided to take that 14,000 parcel at 4.9c as it seems Williams %R is showing completely oversold, and we could have support around just below at 4.8c approx and now my 1,000 left over @ 4.9c just got taken out at a dump back to 4.8c

Fun and games this hey~!

Time along with your conversation of drilling drag these puppies up a few notches over the next week, that's for sure.

LOL no don't have that much in the market, maybe one day soon if GRM hits the paydirt a major copper resource not out off the question esp you look at the area there exploring in. As for me buying any more really depends on how my other shares go and how the drill results play out may even sell a few if it goes to hard.

Acquisition of Turkey Projects
Global Resources Corporation Limited (GRC, or the Company) is pleased to announce that the Agreement previously described in the Company’s news release dated 13 December 2010 to purchase two projects in Turkey, namely Aktarma and Ispir, was executed today.
With the assistance and approval of the exploration team from Agola Madencilik Limited Sirketi (Agola), a wholly-owned Turkish subsidiary of Pilot Gold Inc. (PLG-TSX) (“Pilot Gold”), GRC has begun exploration work on the Aktarma tenements. Detailed mapping has commenced and channel sampling of the outcropping veins is planned for the next few weeks. A local surveyor has been appointed to locate and mark out the lines to enable a gradient IP geophysical survey to be completed. This style of survey will give us a good picture of the extent of the vein system and provide important information for the design of a drill programme, while the channel sampling will provide indications of the grade of the system.
We have requested quotes from two geophysical companies for the IP work and expect to have that completed in the next 5 weeks.
Drilling targets will then be generated and we expect to start drilling about 6-8 weeks from now.
Please see the map below for the location of the projects:

Hey DF,

It is "only' 0.1 or 4.5% so not a massive sell off. Small caps are getting hammered across the board this afternoon almost without exception so nothing out of the ordinary IMO. I boguht NAV today at 6.4 thinking it was a pretty good trade but who knows in this market. Are you trading anything today?

20-06-2011, 04:41 PM
Hi Gaz,

Well, last time I looked at this stock was when I sold it at 4.8c something, I had an order in for 4c a while back and then decided to move it down to 2c in which case it came to my attention when I heard the beep beep beep beep go off, so I am now back in this at 2c :P

Was then gonna get out at 2.1c but somebody is quite quick and dumped another 100K on 2.1 before me.

Oh well, may as well enjoy the ride.

Not doing that much trading gaz, mostly watching it seems, but I did buy some FXR as the 15min and 60min chart is turning upward which should see a potential move upward and RSI has is reacting so a small trade on this for a couple of days or so, or we will see.

Had thought about NAV, but thought Nahhhhh, if management in NAV had a brain they would be dangerous. Dont enjoy seeing other shareholders getting burned by management that talks the talk, yet cannot walk the talk to save themselves, so I will pass, regardless of price.

Ouch JB, although better safe than sorry I guess though either way, not a pleasant experience. Fortunately you got out of NAV in time it seems, but sometimes these small caps can either make or break you quick smart at times. In these declining markets I trying to train myself to sit on my hands to reduce risk as it feels like its getting harder to hold a position for any length of time.

So do you reckon these guys wont get things moving along with any projects at all?

well it's the big unknown GRM don't have much cash to do all that much drilling outside the Mexico/turkey planned so without any great results their GRM will be looking to raise more funds at very low levels (6c was the last CR)

Another thing,
Wow, another 200,000,000 shares to the registry all for the sake of 1.6 Million dollars.
