This guy must have had a drink with Belg recently

Firstly wait for the recession to smash share prices ..... and then buy ... Based on my general approach augmented by the rebuilding in Canterbury it means the first half of 2012 could deliver another timely opportunity to invest in shares. If I were to take advantage of this opportunity I
would be waiting to see the first buds forming on the leading indicators of economic growth before buying. So it may not be timely to put shares in the Christmas stocking, but I believe it is timely to think about this issue over the Christmas and New Year break of you believe that investing in shares might be for you

I can recall a scene from some random American sitcom...

Grandfather: [Visiting for Christmas] "So who likes Disney?"

Small Kids: [Jumping up and down] "Yayyyyy!"

Granfather: [Opening Wallet] "So here is 1 stock in Walt Disney for each of you!"

Kids: [Bemused WTF Faces]

You would do well with getting a share that has the name of a large fish from the ocean.

I have found shopping early for Christmas you get the best bargains.
I have been loading up with 2CC,as I expect when they announce their interim result late November, they will decide to pay a fat fully imputed dive payable before Christmas.
I am holding myself at the ready incase they announce it at their AGM on Thursday....lol
