I have now picked up 2 viruses while on sharetrader (on the last couple of days)....anyone else having problems???

how do you pick up a virus from a website?

Try using Chrome instead?

yes I agree FD , though to be fair I am not 100% sure it was from ST, but quite likely imo, and with you raising the issue I think I can assume it was ST now.

CJ , websites can transmit virii, no question.

Chrome is likely a virus itself knowing Google ;+)

FD & peat maybe it is a website that a link has been posted to on sharetrader. I do not follow links from one website to another. I have had no problems

I am now more certain than I was before that sharetrader is either the source or the vector for malware attacks.


PTC - note that the absence of problems is not a useful indicator in this situation

I use a mac so no probs with attacks ---anti-virus companies only care about windows users(aka they make most of the virus it's good for business)

I am now fully convinced the site is spreading malware...

Mods please check it out. it may be from your advertising links if its not from your website of course.

I agree...just suffered another 2 alerts from my AVG antivirus...It isolated another 2 .exe files

Any Mods out there.....????
