I am with ASB securities and it says 0.7% on their website (phone orders only - no internet orders)

Direct Broking says 0.5% +trade fee (phone or internet) 0.3% for over 50k

I know Aegis wrap clients get fees as low as 0.3%

What are you paying? have you been able to negotiate with ASB/Direct for lower rates?

Parcel size is going to be 50k only so I don't qualify for 0.3%.

If I were in broking service I would allow people to trade 50 times a year for a fixed fee of $1000. Business owners in broking service need to be more innovative

how? Do you trade over 50k parcels? Did you request that rate or did they just give it to you? Is the account a direct personal name account?

Cheers

I was getting 0.5% on everything from $10,000 up (face value) from Direct Broking in the past - a personal account, just rang and placed the orders.

Haven't done much fixed interest business since 2009 though, so possibly I'm out of date.
