The NZX Derivatives Market (NZCX) offers a suite of futures and options products for trading in both Dairy and Equity contracts.Equity Derivatives launch in Q1 2013 with trading in Index Futures (1 March 2013) and Equity Options (5 April 2013).

Haven't heard much but I don't think they physically settle. So there is no risk of a milk tanker turning up at your house if you forget to close out your position.

That would be a hilarious misunderstanding.

I think the dairy futures are already operating. But I think there is going to be an index derivates which I am more interested in.
