I think this has been covered in one of the other threads but I cant for the life of me remember so though I would give it its own thread.

Do any firms allow internet trading of NZAX companies.

ASB Securities doesn't but I remember reading Direct Broking does??

I think with ASB, you have to call up (so I assume they then apply the telephone brokerage rate)

In my experience, any NZAX shares that I have called up ASB to buy have had regular $30 brokerage applied. (I didn't buy enough to go over the $30 minimum fee however, so I'm not 100% sure if there are additional fees if you go above that)

I am not sure if they apply the telephone rate though, but assume they do since you are doing it over the telephone.

Ouch, DB's rate is a flat $30 until $15,000 is reached.ONly if you have a call account with them - otherwise $30 + 0.4%

If you do have a call account, then it is 0.2% vs 0.3% (DB v ASB) so not significant.

I think ANZ and DB are the same platform.

But last time I looked ANZ brokerage was higher than DB on the same platform.
