Had a look and couldn't find a thread on them.

Looking to be following in the footsteps of other mobile advertisers of late.

seems like plenty more growth to come on the back of the latest deal. one for the watchlist

What are other similar companies on the ASX apart from MBE?

MNW, FAC, ADJ, ABN ans SNK.NZX. MKB and MBE are the winners right now though imho.

Thanks moosie. Crazy seeing them all lined up, today's gains alone are hard to comprehend.

Still waiting for the contagion to hit SNK. I suspect there's less interest because it's on the NZAX. What do others think?

Just to be clear, most of the companies mentioned have nothing to do with mobile advertising:

MNZ = online retail
ABN = online retail/ online advertising
MKB = develops apps, hopes to make money from selling ads on these apps
MNW = developing m-payment solutions
ADJ = develops online media (ad) trading technology
FAC = develops online media display technologies
SMA = m-payment gateway
NNW = Chinese mobile technology
MBE = 75% m-payments, 25% m-advertising

Basically anything tech related ( ie GCN yesterday, BPG today) is getting pumped

you asked the wrong man that lh! look at the SNK thread. it has nothing to do with the NZAX and everything to do with a Sorehead ;)

Well something that annoys me about SNK is having to call ASB Sec to make a trade - it can't be done online. Maybe this puts a dampening effect on potential Aussie buyers? It wouldn't take a lot of money to buy all of his shares so a little bit of interest would see the selling down by 1 shareholder brushed aside in short order.

I think we have seen the initial burst. The sector is starting to look a bit tired. Lots of posts on this and other sites that say this is a bubble.Personally I have seen a lot of bubble burst lately. Take say eight in this sector and see what's happening. It's not a good look. Moosie may back this up.....

yeah blocker, not looking good in my portfolio as well. 15cents would have to be the floor with lots of possible upside if NASAQ listing comes through as expected in next few weeks. Really only impatient frustrated smaller investors exiting on thin volume and Mossie correct with 5cents options taken. I reckon its a bargin at 15cents if revenue as expected jumps towards end of year. If mgmt delivers on revenue expectations other big compaines like facebook would have no trouble paying circa 30 cents a share. So there is chance shareprice could double within a year :t_up:

http://www.prospective-investments.com/mobile-advertising-is-booming-gain-exposure-through-this-fast-growing-asx-junior/

MKB, recently released their quarterly report and comments from management suggest everything is progressing quite well. MKB is a mobile social marketing and advertising company positioning itself to benefit from the strong growth outlook in mobile advertising,

The public filing is now imminent and the NASDAQ listing will likely occur at the end of May. As we have previously said, the NASDAQ listing should underpin MKB’s market cap and act as a tailwind for the share price. This is because US investors have a strong appetite for social and digital media companies, often applying much higher valuation multiples than the resource heavy ASX market. MKB are also preparing for a capital raising to US investors on the back of the listing. This will provide liquidity in the US, the capital will also be used to expand existing business programs and pursue new business opportunities.

Phase one of the REC.IT pilot program has been successfully launched and although no statistics have been provided, management state “we are very pleased with the level of user engagement and interaction with the pilot version of the App and we expect this to grow further as we add new social features and other functionality’.

The next step for MKB will be an expansion of REC.IT into 20 colleges and the US summer sports program, this will establish REC.IT with a campus presence on many of the top tier colleges, setting it up for the full national launch in September.

MKB have gone live with political website, Blue Nation Review, you can view the site here. Development of the specialist running community, RunHaven is also well underway with a Facebook page here. With REC.IT and Blue Nation Review well on track, we anticipate revenue will begin to accelerate strongly in the back half of 2014.

MKB is in a black out period leading into the NASDAQ listing, we look forward to bringing you an update post the listing.

Plenty of time to jump on the Moko steam train. If the Nasdaq can have a really good end of June we will be looking at a target price of 30cents plus. Looking to pick some more up on the dip next week prior to the US roadshow. The US roadshow will be crucial week where all the features of Mokos highly scaleable product is revealed. Surely it will be priced at upper end of price range prior to NASDAQ listing! exciting few weeks ahead:t_up:

MOKO getting hammered 13% on the Nasdaq overnight. Turns out a new listing was NOT what the conpany needed! Still very wary of the options being converted constantly. This ones going downhill FAST.
what a dud IPO, def bummed me out. Oh well good to learn from them but yeah still holding the faith as believe they are a good company and achieving everything they said they are plus the growth rates will be significant towards the end of this year. What is funny is that MKB and MBE are trading at nearly identical prices, wonder who will be higher come xmas

For those who haven't been keeping up to date with the Rec*it app, it is going to be launching on 1 September 2014 and set to reach 800 universities (which is more than previous announces of 700 I think, which was also up on the initial 600 when starting off), so all round good work that they are at this stage. Reviews are positive on both Apple and Google Play store. Personally also downloaded the app myself and thought it was simple to use and would be quite effective for all students who play sports, which if we had this app in NZ and I was still playing sports, I would have really loved the convenience of it, so based off other peoples opinions and mine I think it should gain quite a bit of traction as it looks to be something that most sport teams at uni will be wanting their students to use as it convenient, its free and allows people to communicate like never before for sports and with the added peer pressure to do so, its a great app that should gain good traction. Its got everything from being an organiser for sports, to communicating with team mates/friends and a way for fans to keep with with how results went for teams they support.

Heres the link for the announcement http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20140815/pdf/42rhknjb32wclh.pdf

Also their twitter page: https://twitter.com/RECITcollege
Really shows how active they are getting this app out there and people posting about the app with photos of merchandise and promote material.

Another announcement from MOKO:
http://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20140822/pdf/42rnhzmpbgq9md.pdf

Their launch of BNR (Blue Nation Review) App is launching at the end of September 2014. Given its response on Facebook it has attracted a good amount of interest. I am more particularly excited about their VOYCIT App which they say is schedule to launch in December 2014. Being able to follow or create your own groups and channels could be potentially huge when elections draw near or just politicians trying to keep a good supportive audience entertained before elections are near or people drawing up support for possible candidates, which at the end of the day could potentially be quite a sizeable crowd.

Overall things are looking great! Rec*it app rolling out followed by BNR App in September and then VOYCIT App in December, all main products out before year ends is quite exciting period, not to mention its huge potential for success!

Yeah share price isn't seeing upside I guess until people see some numbers. The companys already highly valued for producing very little in revenues, so I guess theres no more pushing up until people can be reassured there will be a positive outlook once they see the numbers. Management has delivered on what was promised and I do feel the products are solid, so more about letting them do their work and the share price will reflect the positives once they start revealing themselves in numbers. If you read the reviews on the app store they are very positive, so I think people will pick this up as its something that will help students who play sports a lot. I think it also encourages students to take up sports because for lot of them they don't know whats out there, having to go through the uni sites to find it isn't easy, normally you have to be specific like say finding out if the uni has a tennis team, it can be limiting for the student so I see this as not only being an organiser, but also a sports portal.

Reviews on the App store: (mostly all 5 star ratings except the ones who couldn't get the app to work for them)
Gives you some idea how students are already reacting to the app.

"Makes life so easy! Trying to incorporate a little more exercise into my day to day and this makes it so easy!"

"Scheduling This app will make sure that I will never miss a game!"

"Makes finding fitness classes a breeze! It used to take me forever to go to my school's campus rec website, find the page with group fitness schedules, and download the calendar of classes. REC*IT makes it super easy to find a specific type of fitness class. And if a class were ever cancelled, the app would keep me up-to-date so that I could quickly find another activity to do instead!"

"Softball captain's dream come true Keeping my teammates aware of upcoming games was a nightmare in the past. Summer softball league schedules are always up in the air and this app really helped us stay on track this year. Really excited to see what they do next!"

"I've been waiting to get my schedule on my phone for a long time. I'm not going to have to worry about forfeiting again! I made sure everyone on my team downloaded this app and we use it."

"I love that I can see the fitness schedules which makes it easy to coordinate and plan my workouts."

"Awesome app! Love the chat feature to connect to team mates easily."

I don't think theres enough for Fosters to change or reaffirm their report until after the launch of Rec*it, as much as I'd like to believe their numbers, its still very unproven and yes they were very conservative with their estimations, but like the rest of the market I don't know what I can rely on cause theres nothing really to compare it with. All I have is my belief and fingers crossed that if revenue numbers are anything like they say they will be, well I think I'll be running out into the street and screaming HELL YEAH! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!!!!!! *Like a crazy man. My belief is there is infact a lot of value building up here that isn't reflected in the share price because no one can be certain yet if that will generate the revenue numbers, interestingly to mention all of Fosters numbers were based on MKB rolling out to 700 universities, now that its 800 we have a 14% increase, so I'd be keen to hear from them regarding how that changes the picture. Most like better scale and more prfoits! =)

Though if I was to look at the minor negaitve side of the report that for a while their was a slight delay in their expected listing date and we never got that re-rating that everyone was hoping for.

Just when you thought the original line up of products they have were good enough, MKB have another coming called Speakiesy (link below)
Looks like an app with great potential too, although they will be competing with FB and Twitter for the student market, they could pull something good off by how exclusive the app is. Original FB started like this too as being a platform exclusively for students, so definitely potential here!
