For us with a large chunk, looking at pretty pictures doe's not ease the pain. My last comment still stands but we've moved further away. $700k admin costs is my peeve. It's certainly not performance based.

May I say the chart says it all. In last 12 months NWE has fallen ! from 8c to 1.7c ..... The shale project is experimental and it is going to take years and a whole heap of big capital to do anything with ....
NWE is in the wrong game . Small companies making a play for tight gas have never gone anywhere in the Perth basin . Shrewd Crude , are you still full of enthusiasm for this 10 bagger ?
ELYOB,
AWE are happy ( 2-4 new drills forecast for next year ) and Apache came into the WA Basins today. This story gets a lot bigger.
Way past a 10 bagger. The UK assets can do that on their own.
If AWE's/TTE's Drover drill shows similarities to Arrowsmith then sentiment will change rapidly.
These USA companies are not here just to look for dingoes.
what a sick 2013, the highs and lows have been incredible...(and thats in all parts of my life)... things are looking up...
I've had a real decent break from stocks, just checking the prices periodically...
been watching bitcoins for the last month(s) 10 bag and flipping out... be good to hear others thoughts out of interest sake?
Im quite happy with myself considering the huge falls of Norwest...... the sector has been brutalised... look at the stock in question-> the pup is still all before us... the whole downswing and lost brain around arrowsmiths proof of concept... All the spent money and cap intensive nature of what is before us......
We have really been caught out with the timelines... the whole things fizzed... the market just ain't ready to capture such secured wealth... Look its bad, ive come into this one focused on what is still there...ive attached weight, and place confidence and in the opinion that we hold some real leveraged reserves....Ive got time to wait on this coming true, i aint got no other stocks to leverage off this is happening, and its more like a retirement fund to me for the moment...
Ive been watching a few oilers OSH a solid growth, and FAR is an out of it oil prop...and totally watching everything no major standouts...
i'm kneeling up on more Norwests in the new year, thinking about getting deeper and risking a years pump for more norwest future options......i'm sitting around 5 cent avearge on sweet sky... a while back corporate said don't lose your shirt on this one... well, im bear back dude...
the AGM Q&A said it all... this is a serious future proposition...
make sure you get some at the right time...
we are looking at biblical gas which might take a decade...
this is going to take time... this project is going to get pulled off, and on a future path for growth of the AUS economy
the key is all project indicators are still the same as they were 2 years ago...
read the AGM Q&A, and smile again... chuffed...
all the best for 2014... whats happening bermuda you big cookie...

Thought NEN might have been your style Shrewdie....
I was just wondering what happened to you Shrewdy--Thought you might be hanging out in Las Vegas waiting for the next big Polker tournament.
These have been rather lean years for the oil and gas industry.
Maybe Duncan will jump back in and it will be just like old times.:)
there are other stocks every bit as enticing as NWE, both for leverage, risk and in shale gas.
If you've got enough, time to look at other stocks. It's just risk mitigation.
Just like poker...protect the bank, spread the bets.
All-in is when you have your back against the wall and no other choice...or you have the upper hand and multiples of your opponent's pot.
And here I thought Shrewed was the only Poker fanatic:)
no idea how these guys will manage to realise the value of ep413.
Fair to say A2 hasn't delivered great results.
Friday intraday ranged from 1.2 to 1.6 and closed on 1.5
What do we make of this?
Quarterly:
Highlights
Australian Exploration Program
EP413: Preparations continued during the quarter for the workover
and final flowback evaluation phase for the Arrowsmith-2 well.
Completion of the detailed forward plan allowed for field activities
to commence this week, in line with what had been announced to
the market. Furthermore, the complex regulatory approvals process
continued throughout the quarter for the 3D seismic program, which
is anticipated to be conducted in H2 CY2014.
SPA: Native Title negotiations were further advanced during the
quarter, with a formal agreement expected in Q1 CY2014.
TP/15: A detailed farm-in package has been prepared, with Norwest
now actively seeking a partner to join it in the exploration program
for this block.
United Kingdom Exploration Program
P1928
The Licence was due to be relinquished on 1 February 2014,
whereafter the blocks comprising the licence would not be offered
by the UK regulatory body, the Department of Energy and Climate
Change (DECC), until an undetermined time in the future.
Accordingly Norwest and its partner, Wessex Exploration PLC, made
a strategic decision to relinquish the licence prior to 1 February
2014, enabling the blocks to be included in the current round of
offshore licensing. Norwest and Wessex intend to bid for the blocks,
providing two years to progress evaluation, select a drilling target,
and find a farm-in partner, if the bid is successful.
