JT still in NUH? I did a quick google check of product reviews and it seems as if battery life is a huge issue. Probably a reason why the SP dropped from its recent high of 14.5c back to 9c. Their latest 4C was full of percentage points but the dollar amounts themselves seem very piddly. I'm still waiting on the sidelines as I'm still not convinced that they are the big distrupter as HC posters seems to think. Or am I missing something?
Yes i am holding not buying, high risk still. NUH burning through cash though in the race between production, research and sales increasing. heres hoping they get some scale before they need to go to investors for some more cash.
On 16 March 2018, Nuheara announced the Company’s successful registration as an approved supplier to the Australian Government’s Hearing Services Program (HSP).
Nuheara’s global Hearing Health Care (HHC) product initiatives are designed to provide accessibility and affordability for these hearing challenged consumers; in particular for those with mild to moderate hearing loss who represent the majority that go without any hearing assistance. Accordingly, Nuheara’s announcement of its expansion in to the HHC sales channel which targets these consumers, has been very well received.

I am a big fan of hydrogen fuel cell cars compared to electric vehicles and also graphite/graphene has huge disruptive purposes.
From the World Economic Forum website:
Why hydrogen could be the future of green energy
https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2018/...ture-heres-why
It would be a magic bullet but still hurdles to overcome , safety and production. Still in the potential stage but sure hope it becomes a reality on a global scale. Electroysis process Hydrogen with no , zero, nada pollutants.:t_up:
There will be winners and losers and unfortunately not always the best technology will prevail. Not only is science behind hydrogen it also has some serious heavy-hitters behind it:

I only really hold Hazer (HZR) at the moment. Would appreciate throwing other suggestions my way if anyone finds companies exposed to this industry sector.
HZR at fresh yearly lows. Not worth me selling now and luckily SEQ is looking primed for lift-off
NUH out with a decent announcement today as well. 2500 IQBuds Boost sold out within first 6 weeks. At $649 each that's $1.6m in revenue
Despite the recent share price (ouch) there seems to be a lot going on at Hazer at the moment and quite a bit of news imminent. Good vid here summing up where they're at:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCg9...ature=youtu.be
Hazer now need to get a strong new CEO on board. It's worth noting that Goeff Pocock has not sold anything since stepping down, or at least I've not seen anything suggesting that he has. And the MIN partnership appears to be going well and ahead of schedule.
Perhaps showing my ignorance here but a couple of stocks I've glanced at BUD.ASX & XPE.ASX operate in the Internet of Things hardware sector. I've taken this from a Forbes article (https://www.forbes.com/sites/jacobmo...bbc93081d091):
So What Is The Internet Of Things?
Simply put, this is the concept of basically connecting any device with an on and off switch to the Internet (and/or to each other). This includes everything from cellphones, coffee makers, washing machines, headphones, lamps, wearable devices and almost anything else you can think of. This also applies to components of machines, for example a jet engine of an airplane or the drill of an oil rig. As I mentioned, if it has an on and off switch then chances are it can be a part of the IoT. The analyst firm Gartner says that by 2020 there will be over 26 billion connected devices... That's a lot of connections (some even estimate this number to be much higher, over 100 billion). The IoT is a giant network of connected "things" (which also includes people). The relationship will be between people-people, people-things, and things-things.
---------------------------------
Obviously the two examples above have not been successful so are there any companies listed on the ASX you know that also operate in this sector I should keep an eye on?
BUD has been painful for me atp. APX (i hold)more AI and machine learning and ALU int but not much else i can think of atm.
Thanks greater fool and JT - will have a look at the companies mentioned.
Worth scrolling back through the threads if you havnt already.Havnt kept up as the fizz went out of that sector and i got distracted elsewhere as i tend to do. BRN (baabaa) interests me still.
https://www.finnewsnetwork.com.au/ar...ork180236.html
Spotting the trend and getting into the next hot sector early is the trick. It looks like uranium stocks could be on a long uptrend with the U price finally looking like reversing after 10 years.. With global warming i have had a mindshift and atm think uranium is an acceptable part solution atpit over other dirtier polluters of energy.
Despite Nuheara (NUH.ASX) putting out a flurry of announcements it's slowly trending lower. I do like the concept of wireless buds but is it going down the track of Bluetooth headsets and Google glass - well-meaning technology but aesthetically horrendous? I never could pull the trigger on this one so I've never held. I wish them luck but glancing at their last 4C the staff, administration and corporate costs are sky high. Will still sit on the sideline until I get a better understanding of their revenue growth.
Has not been an easy or profitable investment atp. Will hold a while longer., hoping momentum, acceptance and sales build. The insto cap raise above mkt price was a vote of confidence. But they really need to get the volumes going, 5 times what they are doing now.
Thanks JT. Just to reiterate - I'm not bagging NUH as an investment at all. But my interest has certainly been piqued as it's so heavily discussed on HC.
It would be really interesting to see if there's a correlation between the number of posts on HC (or elsewhere) and a share's performance. Anecdotally at least, I reckon long-term the correlation is negative, but perhaps positive in the short term. Perhaps it reflects short-term traders pumping and then dumping stocks.
Enthusiasm and being right and instant gratification $ wise is something many want to share when the s/p is rising rapidly.
Im neutral on NUH atm and my conviction is not strong anymore.
With NUH, the real challenge has been penetrating the mass market with its relatively expensive IQBuds and Boost earphones (yet arguably a bargain when compared to hearing aids).
The release of the LiveIQs in Q4 should help address this with an affordable($200USD) price tag and being the first wireless earphones in the market with Active Noise Cancellation. These should compete very favourably with other wireless earphones out there and hopefully bring Nuheara into the mainstream.
Just have to patiently wait it out.
Hazer are looking interesting of late. The options are getting a little short-dated (Dec 31) but the share price is sitting just below the option strike price now and trending up on increased volume and what appears to be good progress towards commercialisation.

fwiw I've recently sold my small parcel in Leaf Resources (LER) at a manageable loss. I have no idea how they are going to commercialize their Glycell process in the near term. It's a great idea but miles away from any kind of bankable shareholder returns. I read today that they issued 250k worth of unsecured promissory notes for immediate needs to working capital.
It still has a MC of A$14m so still very big downside hence me taking the loss on the chin and recoup those somewhere else.

Hi all,
Another small company at the moment that attracted a bit of a gain today from an annoucement, think it was just a correction from a fall on low volume though.
Nanollose: ASX:NC6 Options: NC6O
Have developed a non-woven fibre from there tree-free cellulose. Initially started as a sustainable fashion company and now looking at what I can only imagine is an easier target market, non-woven fabrics. Have just done some board changes bringing on Heidi Beatty who has many years experience in commercialising non-woven products in to market. Have done two pilot trials currently and secured an agreement for supply. Very small market cap currently and not much HC activity which is generally a good sign. Needs cash in near term though, could be good entry around then though.

"Shame about the uses in ammunition"?. Not aware of all its potential uses, got the impression that bullet proof clothing/vests was a primary use the company was pursuing. I just skimmed over the article.
Page 8, ammunitions market

Only 36 kg BNNT made last year
I am a bit puzzled what they would use it for in munitions. The only thing I can imagine is armour piecing shells, possibly composits for drones etc if the latter are classed as munitions. Perhaps they tip bullets with it to penetrate the body armour that is made with it.
The revolutionary thing about the company is they are said to have a process to mass produce what is a keenly sort after and valuable commodity.

What about AVH? Has it got a thread already that I cannot find or this is where it should start? Just became a holder yesterday, that's why.
Thanks for reviving the thread, can you give us an overview and why you bought?
I have AVH in the 2020 share contest.
Reason I picked it in Dec 2019 was it had great momentum.
It also is listed in the US - I think.
With the White Island burn victims receiving the synthetic skin treatment successfully it got publicity.
Down side I see is with medical stocks in general, the greater the incidence of the medical issue in the population the greater the opportunity.
A treatment for extreme burns and similar skin conditions may not have as great returns.
It has turned out that PNV Polynovo has outperformed AVH in the hospital/medical treatments space in 2020.
Have a look at AXE, something to do with graphite and quantum computing. Last Monday I tried a bid but missed the bus some what. Is a bit over my head understanding what it does but seems hot now.
Nothing into it really. Just that gut feels it's time to take a punt on it after hearing and/or reading about it when it was mentioned in an article I came across lately. Did my own researching of course as I can't analyze a company the way that most of you here in ST can. So just wanting to sound off for those unto it already.
Thanks, a link to the article would be good "share".

Ann: FY20 Results - Investor Presentation
Anyone here following WBT? I've been following for a few years and it seems to finally be starting to get a run up...
Been in them two weeks ago when they were 37 cents. Now around the 80 cent mark. I presume there's an announcement looming about a deal to be signed given the large price rise. From my limited knowledge, they were working on making a chip that can store more for less cost. If they can do it, megabucks
Hazer Group (HZR) had a nice run of late including today's announcement "Hazer & AP Ventures Agree Investment Terms" https://stocknessmonster.com/announc...asx-6A1000632/
I've been a holder since 2016 so it's nice to have finally some validation of late. I'm still a big fan of hydrogen fueled vehicles especially for trucking.
Nice to see this very important development. I've been in Hazer since 2016 as well; it's been a long wait but finally they're getting some serious global attention. Having an AP Ventures rep on their board will raise Hazer's profile significantly. And check out AP Ventures' other portfolio stocks.. Hazer's market cap is miniscule by comparison. Obviously they like what they see.
Exciting times with the momentum building behind the hydrogen industry... and Hazer is pretty much it for pure hydrogen generation tech investments on the ASX.
Congrats to anyone holding NC6 Nanollose Limited. I like the technology but didn't buy after my LER Leaf Resources disaster.
SCL has been strong over the last few weeks, will take off if quarterly report is positive
WBT going strong. Anyone else in?
Nice to know I have company... I hold the options.. they were at 10 cents and sold some at $1.40....i bought them bk plus 1000 more at $2.00. this time I'm not offloading for two years. I'm also in KTE where the company holds shares in something similar and that has doubled in price. Had a K in NC6 at 8.5, saw it drop to 6.. so nice it's at 20.
Yep, I'm in, Bought options at .39 , $1.10 and $1.90 Looking Good,
My guess is they will be worth at least $10 by the end of the year. Looking for the next one, now.
Guess who sold out of HZR (Hazer) at 69c to pay some bills after holding since IPO?
