Lol, then you look at EVO on ASX and realise how buying on NZX was a mistake.. same exact company, liquidity phenomenal on ASX and less volatile.
Doubled my holding recently but always same price either asx/nzx happy to play the long game................
no change in fundamentals, turnover looking solid. last report was decent too income loss wise.
hoping for bargins below 160
Ouch, little bit of a burn on ASX and NZX... insider news? :S
Just the normal crap day with ASX day-traders and shorters paradise, consistent with the rest of market. Still big numbers in depth with todays 1.54m traded.
Would have to say not one of MY best ASX days..Ah wait a minute looks like GREEN day starting on Wall Street deserves a :)
Dip again haha little scarey sometimes
Getting trashed for the past two weeks... from 17c to 11.5 (ASX)...
Comforting words from Evolve today didn’t seem to reassure the market
Down more than AIR and they had a shocker of an announcement

* Confirmation of Year End Date: The financial year end date for EVO is 31 March. EVO expects to announce results for the financial year ended 31 March 2020 on 25 May 2020.
https://www.nzx.com/announcements/351514
"Evolve Education Group Limited (NZX/ ASX: EVO) advises that NZ Inland Revenue has approved its application to change the EVO balance date to 31 December annually."
From no change in balance date, to massive change in balance date - to 31 December.
One of the red flags that one looks for when a company is trying to fudge its results or defer the inevitable - while it attempts to raise more capital.
The very reason for having a special meeting last fortnight was to get some leeway to raise more capital. The last placement was for A$0.13 and was paid mostly by the top management which is 50% more of the current sp. the current CEO has invested a lot and has a lot of skin in the game. Hope he doesn’t fail
