If something develops coking coal wise with BRL I think it has the potential for a share price jump of several multiples.
The question is if, and if so when. I have no idea as to the answers but in the meantime I'm happy to sit and wait.

Closure must be soon.
This has been well taken account for many, many months back, in fact I don't even think Bathurst delivered coal their in the recent quarter, Bathurst will not need to downsize more, job losses have already occurred and the mine already shut down... for anyone that is interested, the Bathurst thread on hotcooper is a bit more active these days :t_up:
Comment on thermal coal price/demand by UBS. From a rec re Whitehaven Coal:
"UBS observes the market now expects higher future prices for thermal coal compared with spot. This shift could potentially reflect recent impact on supply, such as China reducing its coal mine working days amid plans to shut 500mt of domestic capacity over 3-5 years.
The movement in the forward curve has brought future prices above the broker's thermal coal forecasts - to US$60/t FOB over the next two years.
UBS forecasts an average thermal coal price of US$56/t FOB until the end of FY18."
Latest Quarterly looks pretty good....

Cash flow positive and slight decrease in production, but cost of production looking a lot better. May hit the 2 cent mark again if this carry's on :)
Share price up 30% today on reasonable volume. Hmmmm........
Yes... I would even argue very heavy volume... something must be up! Solid Energy??
