Good caveat at the bottom there.
Confession: t.j.'s advocacy got through to me a few weeks ago and I've added a few ARV to my stable of retirement stocks, just to be on the safe side of any action in the sector. No regrets - so far!
ARV now at Forsyth's share price target. Who would have thought forsyth were 'right' about this one? Alot seemed to think ARV's share price target was more of a dream (and that forsyth had a 'reason' to give such an 'ambitious' price target), yet here we are today with shares changing hands at $1.78 quite freely... possibly even going to $1.80 by days end.
ARV has returned 48.39% for me this calendar year, a very pleased holder.
Everyone's to busy getting excited about OCA's rebound and how it is up again 4 something percent meanwhile ARV is up nearly 6% today.
Obviously not many give a stuff about Arvida
Some thought I was stupid buying a few of these dogs in the 120’s - just before they acquired a new village or two and they sold me a few more for 115 I think it was
Sold some after that but kept a few for the fun of it ......should have believed tj and got heaps and heaps of this dog stocks
I believe share price hit 2 bucks today
Must admit to selling into todays madness.
It pays for months of travel round Europe.
Must admit I also thought it was a bit overdone at $2.00. Market starting to price it like its been growing underlying eps at double digit rates, (when it hasn't).
I'm not sure its madness but this one appears to be fully priced for its track record, in my opinion.
That said, there's probably ~ $1.5 Billion of new money from the MET takeover looking for a new home shortly and much of it will be reinvested back intro the retirement sector so it may pay not to look at the share price while you're enjoying your European holiday, otherwise you might not enjoy it so much lol
I think its very sound practice not to do regrets. Was listening to Jim Cramer this morning on CNBC and his personal account of how he used to beat up on himself really badly and do the could-have, should-have, would-have, what-if thing. He said it made him intolerable to live with and did his mental health no good whatsoever.
I don't do regrets either, beating one's head against a brick wall is never a good idea, I couldn't agree more !!
