Have looked into them in the past and like them a lot but due to recent change only growers are allowed to own shares, similar to LIC.

Yes bob have long had my eye on Zespri. Great operation and real shame we can't take part. Fundamentals are very attractive

Kiwifruit marketer Zespri is eyeing up a move to the New Zealand stock exchange (NZX).Zespri is currently listed on thUnlisted Securities Exchange (USX), but its chair, Bruce Cameron, told shareholders in its monthly December update that strengthening grower shareholding of the co-operative had been a focus.

And there was a comment that with all the additional disclosures needed for a full listing it’ll bring out the ‘key board warriors’ to analyse all the good and bad stuff.

Last year, Zespri, now listed in the Unlisted Securities Exchange (USX), told its shareholders that strengthening the grower shareholding of the co-operative had been a focus.
They may want outside capital by the time they list next year.....
