Just to give you some idea: the inaugural coffee & chat meeting was in July, attended by a group of about 15 to 20 people (incl NZSA members) interested in the share market (and discussing, next to other things the recent IFT and ARG roadshows).
If you are interested in coming or want to know more - just drop me a pm and I am happy to connect you with the organiser.

Got the following message from the organiser of the Nelson meetings:
Quote:
For our next meeting I am delighted to announce a lecture by Carl Davidson of Research First on, ‘Being a Smarter Investor: Lessons from Behavioural Science’
In this presentation Carl will draw on insights from psychology and economics to show why it is so easy to make poor decisions, while fooling ourselves that we are making smart ones. Understanding this teaches us how to make smarter investment decisions.
The meeting will be held at 10.30am on 27th November in Richmond Library.
I have heard Carl before - great speaker and very interesting and relevant subject if you want to understand your and your fellow investors behaviour ...
