They've made a pig's ear of the IPO process but still got it over the line easily. 1 - 5 scaling.
It'll be interesting what this comes out of the gates at on the 18th. Recent poor showings from LON and JAT may have removed some of the dairy sector gloss...
Well done holders.Trading at 32.5cents up 62.5%.
Heavy day of trading with 100% of the issued stocking churning over in a day which will flush some day traders to take profit.
The Chinese can't get enough nz dairy and looking into their products it could be an interesting little hold.
Stock gained 20% today.
Bought a small amount earlier in the day. Will try to forget about it for a few years and see what happens.
With this stock almost touching 100% increase since IPO the appetite of supply and demand looks to be upon us.
I'm really excited about the space they're working in with more value add that just as a baby formula, the connections with Asian founders will also make delivery easier.

Interesting announcement today - share price up 9% so far..
Like the part about 'no minimum obligation order' in the announcement with decent capacity on hand should they need it.
Any thoughts on how this might perform this week? Volume was very low on Thursday and Friday relative to earlier in the week.
Nice lift and volume starting to happen as things settle down post IPO hype.
Have been several positive announcements since their listing which only looks positive.
Anyone else following this stock
Up 16% today:D

Why the paws ?
Waiting patiently for the further announcement. Om!
Up 8%... got speeding ticket but all good!
Any one know why the price jumped by over 20% today?
31% up!:t_up:
A rather nice surprise! I wonder who was buying...
Sold out at .67 today, thought i should take that 100% gain in just a couple of weeks. Not bad!
Time will tell I guess, but I'll be looking to buy back in if there is a significant drop. The GF still has a reasonable holding.
Up 9% yesterday, up 10% so far today.
I think yesterday's volume was around 6M shares, today it is already up to 7M. Volumes were even higher last week. Isn't that crazy considering only 75M shares are free to be traded?
Is someone accumulating or are people happy taking the massive daily gains? How soon does an entity have to declare they own more than 5% of the shares on issue?
Will be a dollar soon:t_up:
As much as I am enjoying this experience, you really have to ask why the market price has increased 100% in a month on zero news... Perhaps it is time to sell half...
Simply because it is undervalued....
As far as I am concerned this is a long-term hold gone awry.
I can see absolutely no justification for the current share price and have spent a happy hour and a bit reducing my holding significantly.
I am relatively new to investing (although this feels more like trading) and I have learned two valuable lessons in the past hour.
Firstly, The 20 minute delay between depth and what you can google can be significant. I walked from my office to my car (where my laptop was) and the price difference was 10% (74c vs 81c)
Secondly, Set up an ASX account to sell into Before you need to use it. I ended up selling into my NZD account as I watched the price tank in the depth
Days like today I wish I didn't have to have a day job too, I would love to sit and get the most out of my investment, coming to work cost me money today!
Evening all, after selling out faster than herdlicker I am now considering purchasing back in. However I have managed to avoid any kind of trader approach up until now. Can anyone give me some advice of the likely consequences of doing so?
Firstly I am going to have a little gloat :t_up: given my sell down was at the [current] peak and the SP is now trading at 2/3 of my average exit price.
The ones I still own are still above what I consider a sensible price for the company at the present moment in time, though of course the market and I seldom agree in the short term.
This whole trader/investor thing re-occurs with regular monotony on the forum, even a tax adviser would ask a lot of questions before providing any form of guidance and I am not going to put my paw in except to say:
If I was a trader I would not be buying into KTD again at the moment;
and if I was an investor I would not be buying into KTD again at the moment.

Oz shares are full of shorters....can not be kept too long...
On the way up again .60 atm !
Thanks King,
I hope my general long term investment behaviour outweighs this slight indiscretion.
Tipsy, I ended up selling for 73c so I was quite pleased with that.
I thought about buying back in at around 50c yesterday but missed that boat and purchased Weebit Nano instead as a longer term bet, and I very much consider it a bet.
I am in the same position, I intended to hold but I couldn't look past the 100% gains in around a month or two. I will look to get back in if the share price nudges 50c again.
I have been trying to limit my exposure to shares recently, but I am struggling to keep money sitting in an account doing f all, I think we might have another year or two in this bull.
Quarterly update and good response from the market.

Nice little bump today on better volume. 4Q results out next week.
2nd factory nearing completion.

Stronger again today @ .44 on good volume
After what appeared to be some consolidation at that level (.345) for a good period, I decided to jump in.
As others have said, there is some risk, as there always is with growth organisations, they will need to make sure they utilise the money wisely and ramp up production now they have a good quality product suite (anyone knows of any comments around the infant proposition in future?). They will also need to make sure they market this product very well, their social presence outside of China is below average from my searching (can't comment on China just yet) so this could be much better.
However, plenty of upsides. I was reassured with their focus on getting their product right before ramping up i.e. getting all their relevant certs together. With the manufacturing down south, they can continue to expand as is when required.
This will be interesting to see how they go over the coming years.
The financial performance highlights include:
• Total sales revenue was up 31% for the quarter (1 January 2019 to 31 March 2019) compared
with the prior quarter ended 31 December 2018.
• Total cash receipts for the quarter were up 43% to $819,000 compared with the prior quarter.
• Sales of Keytone Dairy proprietary branded powder products (as opposed to products contract
packed for third parties) for the quarter were up 25% compared with the previous quarter.
• Sales of private label brands (products contract-packed by Keytone Dairy for third party
customers) across the entire product range were up 31% compared with the previous quarter.
• With the 43% increase in cash inflows from customer sales, Keytone Dairy’s net cash outflows
from operations were negligible at $63,000 (compared to an operating “cash burn” of $537,000
in the previous quarter).
• The cash outflows from investing activities for the quarter were only $528,000, being purchases
of plant and equipment for the second manufacturing facility currently under construction –
being approximately half of the spend on that facility that was incurred in the previous quarter.
• As at 31 March 2019, Keytone Dairy had a combined cash balance of $9,768,348, as outlined
in the accompanying Appendix 4C.
Off to the races today hit .58 high for a while .
Bought a few of these a week or so ago, hadn't been aware of the Company until recent even although only 2 hours up the road.
Why did they choose to list in Oz rather than NZ ?
Fantastic news a SPP to fund a cash flow positive purchase in Aust, look it up and get on board if not , imho a great future for those not share holders, ***** ( five stars ) !!
It's a strange position I am in now, I only bought 10k shares back in start of May, if the sp was to stay where it is right now (50c) I would be best to sell my 10k shares @ 50c and buy back via my spp entitlement later @ 43c. Unfortunately if other small holders do the same I suspect it would only push the price downwards.
It would depend when you can access those funds to fund the SPP, it closes on 21/6/19 unless you put other funds into the SPP, don't forget the brokerage, the s p has done its thing last week down to .095-6 ish so I don't think it will hit that price again before Friday, could be wrong !
Should I have received any communication regarding the SPP?
Have people received their SPP offer document yet?
I'm still waiting on mine.
Cheers mate, get a lot of mail going missing at my place, so I'm never sure if mail is late or been nicked.l I guess it was being sent from Aus so probably takes a few extra days to make it through the international mail center.
KTD docus arrived over the W /E must have been posted via snail, offer closes next Mon 15/July and after todays good news release its a no brainer, hope that there is no scaling !
Blockhead only got SPP mail yesterday as well, what I learned from Hotcopper lads is you can get ASB or Directbroking to pay for your allotment using the BPAY system, I wasn't game to post mine back to Sydney with a bank draft in case it was the same snail heading back.
BPAY is direct, all the details are on the BPAY sheet in the offer. Wham bam, thank you Maa'm, job done !
Things progressing nicely, management squeezing every last drop out of the existing factory. Have sent my dosh off for the SPP.
KTD stronger today with the closing of the SPP.
SPP, closed fully funded and apparently NO scaling.
Not only was there not scaling, there was actually an outstanding (not subscribed for) 13% so of course there would be no scaling...
It means Mr Market isn't so excited as one may think... not a surprise to me, but explains why the share price instantly dropped after this announcement was made... will be interesting to see what happens when they actually get allocated and one can sell.
(I note the share price is now down going into the close)
The half year report was out yesterday, interested to hear all you investors thoughts on the acquisitions. Revenue growth etc.
I feel like 2020 will be a big year for ktd but I'm keen to really look at the numbers and work out how much of the revenue growth was from acquisition.
Hopefully get round to it tomorrow arvo. In the mean time if you have any thoughts I'd love to hear em.
With the new factory still yet to be commissioned most of the revenue growth has come from the Omniblend acquisition (although only 2 months worth of revenue). Nothing new in the half year as we've had the 2 quaterly's before that. If you have a look at the 2 previous quarterly's you should get a better view of where things are at.
A bright spot on the horizon ?

Great announcement Southern Belle! Did you catch it?
anyone still following this stock? Recent SPP (again) and new orders flowing in!
Yes still following but starting to wonder about SP. Were you able to partake in latest SPP? I didn't get my papers until after the SPP had closed.
I did send an e-mail (no reply as yet) but put the delay down to Covid 19. Yes, I think you are right Percy price has drifted so wasn't too upset at missing out on SPP. Am more annoyed at not buying into AQZ especially after seeing the SP this morning!!
With Australian companies I use email as the communication preference so all shareholder communication occurs electronically. This eliminates the snail mail delay.
Southern lad posted the above on AQZ thread.Sound advice.
And yes some positive announcements with more to come from AQZ.
Yes, ironically today (after Sharetrader post) I received a letter from Link on behalf of KTD confirming that in the future all communication would be by email!
IMHO The SPP was a massive disappointment pitched at circa .31 shares were selling @ .28 on close and now lower because the fish heads are B Sing around, not there for all S Hers only themselves , situation re S Her confidence will not alter until they pull up their socks , check out H C for the full juice !!!!
