Might have to dust this one of soon, too, Miner. Sinking a bit, but I notice from their last report they are due to have an announcement due soonish. Still a long way from getting things up and running, that is if everything falls into place, and will need some funding somewhere along the line. Good management, I hear. Might be one for a long term watch list.
Posted in 2004 - I don't know if POK is still around, but I wonder how long his/her definition of "long term" might have been.
Anyway, to cut to the chase, I bought some of these yesterday, at 14c, and so far the market today seems to be confirming that it may not have been an altogether bad decision.
Result and presentation out today make for good reading.

s/p up another 25% today :)
oops beat me to it stoploss
Ended the day at 25.8 cents up an incredible 45.7%.
Lucky to pick these up reading www.dmxam.com.au newletters.
They delivered on time to India last month, seems like a no nonsense company. One has to question how they are going to press the flesh to win future contracts in Asia, but everyone is in the same boat, so level playing field. Good business to be in, the world just feels a little bit shaky atm.
A massive turn around from a $4.729 mil loss in 2019 to a $4.942 mil NPAT in 2020.

Percy. Thank you. For alerting me to DMX. Their approach fits my style perfectly. Love this "It is more important to know a small number of companies intimately than to know very little about a lot of companies. Risk will increase the more diversified you become." I have subscribed to their newsletter today. :D
Percy, Someone lit the touch paper 28 cents + 19 %
Fantastic.
All I can say is we are "well positioned", and thank you www.dmxam.com.au "you have done it again."...lol
Double bagged exactly:-)
Me too :) By far my biggest holding now.
Indeed DMX is a fantastic resource for small cap asx investors. 10x more hidden gems over the ditch.
Agree about getting to know a few companies deeply; albeit initially you have to turn over quite a few stones and have a good filtering system.
(Has given me very consistent high teen returns over 10 years with diversified small caps, despite the perception that they lead to erratic performance)
AVA at an inflection point. TA suggests it was potentially going to uptrend or re-rate based on the news prior to fridays depressing action.
That said it's held up well. Can't see how we don't have a re-rate over the next month or so based on the fact its cash flow positive for the first time (ignoring the miniscule 2018 operating cash flow) and has demonstrated 3 solid years of revenue growth with a colorful forecast despite COVID.
PE 13. PCF 11. $3m net cash. c50% pa compounding growth in both revenue and gross margins 2017 - 2020. Not too shabby!
good action today
happy holder

Divie....Great.!!
this and TPW turned out to be a great investment . this is why I've switched 100% to ASX investing instead of NZX
Who was buying AVA at 10 cents in April. Discl.....not me🤐
Prob Percy for one.Darkhorse and I for two, in @ 15c ,only 180% up atp.:(:D
Been meaning to thank you Percy n JT for putting this on my radar. Brought 20th July for .16, then topped up shortly after. Liked the figures so got some more 1/9 at .26.
My average at 17 looks like close to tripling.. .still a hold?
AVA's agm is on the 29th of this month.
I expect it will be positive, with a very good outlook,so I am holding.
Thanks for the tip. Can I ask if there's anything else that looks interesting?
Yes another DMX holding.
UBN,745,233,018 shares on issue at 9.5cents gives a market cap of $70,797,137
https://stocknessmonster.com/announc....asx-2A1182007.
The above presentation is from 25th October 2019.The CEO's presentation gives us a really good understanding of the business.
With a lot of revenue paid up front, and with them being near break even, I see a great deal of potential scalability to their business model. No need for more capital.
The following link is their latest presentation.

UBN's agm is on the same day as AVA's ie Thursday 29th October.Should be a fun day.
I only brought into UBN last week,as I saw they are not far away from being profitable..I stay away from unprofitable companies that keep coming back to shareholders for more capital.
Download Document 2.09MB keeps surprising upwards.:)
I took some profits last week due to being so overweight... today's 25% rise atm is bitter sweet. But if I didn't still hold a fair chunk I'd definitely be buying today.
At 54c mcap $101m for debt free co with $10.4m quarterly EBITDA - up c70% - and great prospects - what's not to like?
Let your winners run! A 3 bagger today at 60c and very good vol last two days.
Hmm market a little unhappy with discrepancy between cash receipts and revenue little strange.. didn’t break my stop loss yet though
It is all to do with when they receive payments.Accounts receivable currently higher.
Should balance out next quarter, when payments are received.
Their agm is tomorrow.
From today's agm presentation.Out look for Aura is very positive, and looks as though contracts for its use in monitoring
a number of customers' mining conveyor belts is close.Big market.Bring it on.!!.lol
"With a total available market opportunity of more than $300 million, Aura IQ's current sales pipeline of over 50 sites
has estimated revenues of more than $50 million over the first three years of deployment."
This is the link to the agm's chairman's speech and CEO's presentation.

Weird price sensitive update lol
Share price up to 70 cents today as Cannacord have put out research with a target price of $1.05.
Finished at 74.5c ,2.22million shares thru. Keeps on giving(dont hex it).
Bagged my first entry with this one. Re-entry recently with a tight stop loss. Fundamentals look good with me, and great if they actually execute the Aura IQ deals but there's always risk of delays. That said I don't see how Q2 can be a disappointment, since the first half is already significantly better than last year from Q1 alone.
Will need to wait for January for clarity
53 competition entries - still time for the 2021 competition - go ava
Love the unfranked divi of 2c too and the 57% margin!!
Half Yearly Report and Accounts
FFT awarded Multi-base Air Force Contract
Another good update with a strong outlook.
I no longer hold.
