Is anyone else backtesting away with this software?
I am having problems getting a bollinger band breakout backtest in accordance with John Carter's squeeze indicator to work. I have no problems with a MA crossover using the crossover tab, but if I repeat the same technique with the Keltner channels crossing over the bollinger bands it doesn't trigger any trades even though the indicators are crossing over fine. Any suggestions?
Darn...I'm guessing no one has a clue what I'm talking about.
Certain combinations do not work with NinjaTrader, AMR. For example you can run a StopLoss OR a Trailing Stop, but not both.
NinjaTrader has an online "Support Forum" - have you looked there? Maybe someone else has experienced the same problem. In any case, that would be the obvious place to ask any questions.
Alternatively you could use NT's online "Submit a Request for Assistance" form.
