ERD off 6% + today @ $516 , got ahead of itself $677 high 3 months ago, good company but effected by the lockdown IMO.
ComCom released statement of issues on Coretex merger.

1.5 Million shares will need to be purchased by passive funds by Dec 17th with NZX inclusion. No signs of that creating any push in SP currently. Wonder if it is artificially being devalued pre squeeze of buy. Not that liquid for 1.5 million shares to change hands when daily volume trade is sitting at a mere 40,000. Not a stock we have been following. Those that have been - what level are you expecting the share price to fall to before finding support level pre NZX inclusion. As always a lot will trade off market. However not being that liquid will we likely see a similar CEN/ MEL melt up with a large volume needing to be purchased within the next 10 days.
Looks like been on a steady downtrend for last 6 months, makes it tough to know if NZX inclusion will counteract this trend and form a trough at what level. $4, high $3's?
Isnt there a certain time to comply with the inclusion, 6 months ?
ERD has a long history of disappointing investors - just look at the pathetic long term performance of the share. Might be ok for traders with insider knowledge (that's something ERD is well known for ...).
Otherwise - the share looks still quite expensive based on historic earnings and its growth numbers. Forward PE (based on analyst forecasts) is 57. Backwards P/E is negative and so is earnings CAGR. LOL. Trend looks unhealthy (long term downtrend).
NZX50 inclusion often just means that shares are moved from the All Ord index fund to the NZX50 Index fund in the same house. No need for any excitement ...
But hey - for the believers (remember - "to believe" means to know that you don't want to know the truth - Nietzsche said that, not me :) ) - this time will be different! Yeah right - drink a Tui on that - terrible beer but great advertisement!
Looks like inclusion has made the SP jump considerably as thought it might.
Sadly, it didn't take long before SP came back down again. Personally, I think supply chain problems must be hitting it. Hopefully when (if?) things settle down, it should make progress again. It has gone a long way from small beginnings.
