What happened to the Post's Count

Last Friday I had a post count of about 3,700.

I come back today and I have a post count of 2,443 (plus this one).

Others appear to have been 'cut back' as well.

Am I right in thinking that your database has sprung a leak?
Or is it just a bit of spring cleaning?

I notice the post numbers are still not right, e.g. Hancocks at 7, has posted probably 10 times that number?
