Check out SFR , great Cu grades so far.
Hmmmm, 100m shares or in the money options means a market cap of around $55m.
Seems a bit excessive in this market, given the limited nature of the drilling to date. Market cap is in the same ballpark as Discovery and Intrepid (after cash at bank is taken out).
Maybe some day this will be warranted, but I think the market is getting a bit ahead of itself right now.
Good ann today with massive potential within their permits. Could be more out there but...... DYOR
And it's having a rise again today. This one is all over the place and must be good for a trader.
Discl: Hold SFR
Not looking to offload Ponda? Trader having a field day but this stock is looking a bit lopsided in the short term but big upside potential in the LT.
Soulman,
Always looking to offload LOL, but my order isn't even on the screen yet, so it's got a looonnngggg way to go before I'm out but it's alwys fun watching it go up.
It's funny how these things go. Silver Swan yesterday issued a very encouraging drilling report prior to the market opening. SWN had closed at 36c the prior day. I was looking to buy in around 41c on the open but got blown out of the water, with the stock opening around 49c. It then traded lower and lower, and finished the week a cent lower than its pre-announcement price.
Luckily for me, I pulled my bid after missing so badly on the open.

Oooooh, I'm feeling ill......

Another 21.35m of massive sulphides from the 3rd diamond drill hole today, assays awaited , gee from .10 to $2.00 in 3 months WOOOOOOW!!!
It was pointed out to me today that Fox Resources had a similarly rich find a while ago. This evening, I've worked out that they must have been referring to Fox's West Whundo find in 2004. Reading a few of the announcements since seems to be indicating that in parts, it was massively rich, but not overly large. They don't even seem to mention it any more in their quarterlies, but I haven't found anything yet to suggest it has been tapped out - still looking.
Anyhow, each deposit is different I guess, but an interesting exercise all the same.
Keep up the good work H C re Fox West we await your further info.
Maybe you should have a look as well Whatsup.....I'm just a curious bystander.
SFR trading ex-entitlement and gone up today. It was a touch and go to buy some SFR on Fri but it has run too hard and you never know what the US market would do so I chose not to.
The entitlement (a 1 for 10) is priced at $1.20.
Anyone still following SFR, read the latest assay ann ,huge just huge!!
More great drill results 200 east of main exploration
I see GSJBW have a $4.50 target for SFR on the expectation that it will release a JORC of 11mt @ 4% - 5% Cu early next year.
If it reaches $4.50 early next year, that will be just about a 100 bagger in a year from when it traded at 5c back in March.
$400m market cap and probably at least 3 years + from production.
Its an amazing story and is the stuff junior explorers just dream of happening to them.
Although, unfortunately you don't discover a new VMS province very often.
More good drill results out today, I hope that everyone is onboard now!
Wow...check out these drilling results...never seen anything like it.

Courtesy of Mr Rudd, everyone seems to have shunned resource stocks, for the moment at least. Sandfire finished up a very modest 10c....two weeks ago and I reckon it would have put on a dollar.
Bought some....couldn't resist!
And so shallow to. Starter open cut operation with a portal to the deeper stuff, for sure.
Pyrites and oxide ore may cause some difficulties, so it won't be all plain sailing.
Still, how often can you say you've seen results like these.
Also, a recent presentation worth watching.

The recent news of OZL taking a 19% interest must also be positive. OZL have been very careful about spending their substantial cash reserves until now and now that they've spent some I'd expect them to put their weight behind SFR. Or maybe try to buy them out?
OZL's investment in SFR seems to be a positive for the latter so far, with the SP closing last week at $4.05.
There was an article in the AFR a few days ago in which the Chairman/MD of SFR was reported as saying that OZL had got the "bargain of the century" with its investment at $3.85. But then he would say that, wouldn't he?
$4.70+ go you great share , up fron .20 in 18 MONTHS , NOW THAT A 23 Xer !!!!
Capital raising ($5.02), Strategic Alliance and Sales Agreement. Why didn't I see this coming? I dithered too long, again, in taking the plunge.
SFR is in a trading halt, pending release of a resource upgrade.
The effect is being felt by OZL whose SP is up nicely.
Disc: Don't hold SFR unfortunately, but have a few OZL.
Close above $6.00, IMHO this share is worth closer to $10 once all of the targets have been drilled, there are something like 14 identified at present and so far 5 of the early ones have produced stunning Cu grades..
If they p[rogress the way that they have to date then 1 mil tonns of Cu is not out of the ball park which makes SFR a juicy t/o for OZL's massive cash pile.
.20 to $6.00 is not a bad deal in 18 months ( 30 bagger ), we could easially have another $2 on top of this then add the T/O premium ='s what !!
Tracker read all about it , over $7.50 this week and IMHO heading to $10.00 once all the extent of the ore bodies are appreciated.
Oh..Completely missed this one!! Just did a search and saw a SFR thread with nothing in it and figured that was the only one :)
Have taken a relatively large position in the last few days.
has very strong tailwinds with every country signing up to climate based targets and electric cars using 4-5x more copper than ICE cars not to mention solar / wind using many multiple more than coal and thermal generation.
Karl Simich like the Rod Duke of copper been at it over 13 or 14 years all with the same company and with a very good track record.
Phenomenal prospects in botswana, recent upgrades just the tip of the iceberg.
On trailing P/e of approx 6 with very strong growth prospects
here is an excellent link courtesy of HC that shows the numbers

i have seen quite a few of his presentations and he is unusually bullish in this one but does summarise things well. Also explains why they’re able to acquire such a good asset as at first I was unsure why the vendors would sell such a good asset but is due to the two current owners having very different time horisons / investment objectives.
As a slight downer some on hotcopper have said that Spain isn't mining friendly and they won't allow much drilling.
There was also talk of royalties being jacked up if the copper price stays high.
Sandfire to enter the ASX 200 index

i anticipate this will lead to a lot of forced buying by ETFs over the next 6 months. Should put a nice we rocket under the shareprice
couldn’t tell answer you but as you’ll see from latest announcement Metal tiger has announced intentions to acquire shares equal to 2% of the market cap and thats just the start.
OZL minerals trades on a valuation over double that of Sandfires.
after Sandfires recent acquisition, Sandfire is now larger, with at least equal growth / opportunities and management. Preciously SFR had been given a lower valuation due to its small size and the very near end of life of its only producing mine, both of those factors have changed significantly and been resolved in the case of mine life
over the next year I think we will see their valuations come into much closer alignment.
its Sandfires AGM today so I shall be watching
Shareprice up 26% since I bought in roughly two months ago.
All approvals for MATSA sorted
