NZers are getting used to 'high' share prices - witness FPH, MFT, ATM, EBO, DGL etc etc?
In the old days, investors eagerly lapped up share spilts and there were hardly any stock trading above $3.00.
These days, only the dogs (especially the back doored ones) like CRP go for penny stock status.

The consolidation should help reduce the spread on the ASX. A 0.5 cent tick is about 3% of current price, after consolidation it would be less than 0.5%.

I think the management is prepare evo as growth dividends stock. As after consolidation it make easier for people to see eps and get more attractive to funds and institutions

depends on whether the punters think 'this baby' reinvented & consolidated is worth $1.44 or so ..
North of $1 post-consolidation -- SP sagging sometimes is seen
Around 50c up to $1 SP gradually enhancing is seen sometimes (less resistance under a buck)
but who knows - perhaps the 1:8 consolidation was too harsh even ?
time will tell
