    There are decent and established companies paying 6 percent gross dividends so its a no-brainer, of course there is downside risk but minimal

    It doesn't have to be just dividend either - you can sell some of the capital, bit by bit, and still keep the inflation adjusted investment value.

    Dow tops 30,000 for the first time...

    The Dow Jones Industrial Average rallied on Tuesday, breaking above 30,000 for the first time amid positive vaccine news, hope for a strong economic recovery in 2021 and easing of political uncertainty as the Trump administration approved the start of the presidential transition.
