    LOL -

Altech Chemicals Limited (Altech/the Company) (ASX: ATC) (FRA: A3Y) is pleased to advise that preparations for its proposed listed green bond offering of ~US$144 million, to provide additional financing for its Malaysian high purity alumina (HPA) project, are in the final stages
I dropped them some time ago from my watchlist - but is this the funding for the same plant which was supposed to be build and producing in 2015 or so?

Six years later they are not announcing that they are done and dusted, but that the preparation for some bonds which may (or more likely) may not fly and which would secure funding to build the factory "are in the final stages".

So - they still have no finance and the only thing all these CR's so far did fund was keeping CEO and board well fed.

Just wondering whether Iggy can continue this game until retirement? He clearly is controlling a very patient bunch of shareholders.

I feel a capital rise coming on - how much cash do they have left?

    About 6 quarters worth.
$14m worth of 8c options May 2022. Those are close to being in the money, where's this run going?
Iggy might make you some bucks BlackPeter, time to bury the hatchet?

Do you want to share any insider news with us which would justify this recent ramp, or is this just another hype mini-bubble?

Without news this is just same old, same old ..., we had so many before and at higher levels, didn't we?

    But hey, I do wish shareholders all the best, I guess they have been milked by the company for the last 10 years without getting anything in return, so at least they deserve some hope ;

Hope is good for the soul, its just not a great investment strategy.

A couple of NDAs with European car manufacturers, looks like the coating tech might have legs.

    I wouldn't buy now.
They are only building a little factory and their tech is not yet proven.
Where's the finance for this coming from?

NDA means just that they share information which the other side promises not to disclose. It does not mean that they checked this information already and found it useful ...

Still in it but only with a very small parcel. Moved my losses away into other stocks that luckily made up the losses from ATC pretty quickly.

How is this factory in Malaysia going? Planned completion was 2015, wasn't it?
