The sort of action which is bound to get up the Fornicator's backside and have him seething with deep-seated anger, resentment and desire for revenge for years to come.

And there's nothing he can do about it because he IS GOING TO JAIL.

Fornicator better pick a real team of lawyers to defend the multitude of cases being brought against him from 2021.

    JAIL him up!

Yep, it is sort of surprising, isn't it?

Obviously - every mafia family has a designated lawyer (or lawyer team) of "consiglieres" who exist to keep their dirty masters out of legal trouble. In that regard it is no surprise that crooked Trump picked sleezy Giuliani.

What however is surprising is that the designated consigliere of the Trump family is doing such a terrible and embarrassing job. I am wondering whether Trump cannot afford anymore to pay for a proper mafia lawyer?

Or is it just that even crook lawyers don't want to lose their reputation - and anybody working together with Trump will have for ever a tainted name.

But maybe there is an easier explanation for Trump latest embarrassment: He lost his last marble and whatever residual judgement he used to have and is not anymore able to recognize that his in the past so successful bullying and making things up turned into a farce?

Whatever it is - I am sure that the next handful of years will provide a formidable spectacle. And while during the last 4 years we all paid for the entertainment Trump offered, too many paid with their lives and we all paid with a still worse damaged planet and with strongmen encouraged buy Trump spreading all over the globe - in future it will be him footing the bill.

While I hope that Biden does focus on healing a deeply divided country and a world made so much more dangerous by the raging toddler - I am confident that the US tax authorities, the banks and organizations Trump owes money to he can't pay back and the many women Trump abused during his Weinstein years will be able to bring him behind bars.

Let's enjoy the show and let's hope he has many more years left to rot in jail ...

I'm not. The authorities have a duty to send a message that no-one is above the law. but I'm not sure they will.

Mmh - I said "I am confident that they will be able to", Not "I am confident that they will".

But yes, I do agree there is no certainty. So lets reformulate: "I am confident that they are able to and hopeful that they will".

Lets face it - if this crook gets away without punishment it is only a matter of time for the US to pick the next Trumpesk strongman (or strongwoman - crooked Ivanka?) ... and if that person is a bit more clever than the Don (which is not difficult) (s)he might even succeed in what Trump only started to do: turn the US into a banana republic (with climate change, political oppression and corruption all moving in harmony towards the same said goal).

Looking into history - the US authorities managed to bring even Al Capone behind bars ... and Al was orders of magnitude more clever than the Don. I think there is hope :

    Paywalled

Yet another poke in the eye of the fornicating ultimate LOSER Trump:

‘The stock market surge must be particularly galling because Trump predicted last month that if Biden was elected "the stock market is going to crash". Perhaps he meant "cash".'

    And this too:

"The business leaders had become increasingly alarmed by Trump's actions and discussed withholding funds from Republican candidates and issuing a strong letter of condemnation. News of these meetings leaked, pretty clearly intentionally.

On Monday, the letter arrived. It demanded the transition process be delayed no longer and warned our democracy was being damaged. "Every day that an orderly Presidential transition process is delayed, our democracy grows weaker in the eyes of our own citizens and the nation's stature on the global stage is diminished," the letter read. It was signed by 164 CEOs, billionaires, bankers, real estate moguls and insurance titans. That afternoon, Trump caved."

It's hard to believe how far Trump will go to make a complete fool of himself.
Even his supporters must be realising just how thick he is.

Ratbag - yes, irresponsible - yes, but insane? Not sure. He just wants to punish the American public for not re-electing him and he is implementing a scorched earth policy to make it as difficult as possible for his successor to be successful.

Killing off as many Americans as possible before he leaves office together with creating austerity conditions for the incoming administration (slashing budgets and denying support to the pandemic sufferers) plus creating mayhem in foreign policy (troop withdrawals) is a quite rational plan for any crook and traitor to his people. Most psychopaths would behave that way when defeated.

I am sure the Trumpistas can sympathize.

That's almost guaranteed to cause the odd spike, leading to more deaths among those who take notice of him. I don't question his sanity lightly. No fully sane person with the influence that a president has, would encourage such risky conduct.

There are of course qualified opinions worth a look:
