ASX Share Registries
I bought some EML.ASX a few weeks ago - their registry is with Link Market Services but when I log onto my account it's not showing up in my portfolio. I tried logging into the Australian site but although my login and password worked, there was nothing at all against my account.
So I'm just wondering where I go to enter my tax details etc for this?

Have you actually bought any
Have you had any correspondence with regard to this buy [A CHESS statement or letter from the company, direct or otherwise]?
If so contact Link - send them a scan of the letter.
If not:
Which broker did you buy them through? Start with them.
You have some form of contract note I presume?

No, no correspondence yet, although I did only buy them a couple of weeks ago so I might give speedy NZ Post a bit longer. I bought them via ASB Securities and it's showing up there, and yes I did get a contract note.
Edit: Actually it's only been 10 days, so I will definitely wait a bit longer.

Tax details are probably not necessary for Australian companies. I hold a few and don't remember ever providing them. They just send you the gross dividend and you declare in your tax return and pay the tax or the FIF regime if you have $50,000 or more offshore (cost price).

I would have expected it to appear on Link by now

For what is worth:
The timeline for the last Aussie share I bought via ASB Sec:
22-Feb-2016 I buy;
25-Feb-2016 buy registered;
29-Feb-2016 company sends an hello letter;
07-Mar-2016 hello letter arrives at PO Box in NZ.
11-Mar-2016 February Chess statements arrive.
Best Wishes

Thanks, actually this company doesn't pay dividends yet so tax details not relevant, but I was also wanting to check that all communications were set to electronic as well.

Cheers for that, I'll keep an eye out for the mail.
So does this share show up with the rest of your portfolio when you log onto the New Zealand version of the Link investor centre, or do you have to log onto the Australian version?

A separation as wide as the Tassie
.co.nz for NZX bought shares and
.com.au for ASX bought shares
