There is now. Send me one of your old cheques while there's still time, and as soon as it's cleared I'll send you some brand new chequecoin.

"As an investor, you’re always looking for opportunities. And as a firm we are, too. That’s why TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation has invested in ErisX—an innovative company that plans to offer traders access to cryptocurrency spot contracts, as well as futures contracts, on a single exchange."

But the opportunities TDameritrade is looking for are new ways to charge you a brokerage fee or arbitrage..

What are yous on about I got a way better story...
    ....

    There was 3 crypto noobs...
    One fungus pudding
    One snow leopard
    One vagabond47

All 3 watched the crypto market explode 7700%... there was a retrace and even more amazing than that they watched it go mega boombastic all over again...
So one day fungus pudding had some shaggy on and snow leopard popped by and said "just say it wasnt you"....
Well we all knew it was him... The poor fellas missed a double 70 bagger....eventually crypto took over the World....
vagabond became homeless... snow leopard ran off and got lost in a pack hunt and fungus pudding had a bad dessert....
The crypto crazy clan dissipated quickly... they were seen many moons later trolling asx and nzx threads where they spent out the rest of their days...

This is not for me but is there any advantages at 1-3% fees?
    Does this make Crypto mainstream?

Not sure about mainstream. If I buy forex off my platform the fees are closer to .01-.03%. So still 1,000x greater fees for crypto I would have thought. Or am I missing something?

Getting fiat into crypto was a lot harder and more expensive 12-18 months ago. 1-3% is a reasonable rate for this stage of the industry, it will be a fraction of that in time.

You can send actual NZD and get actual USD back for .01-.03% off the interbank rate? Where can I sign up!?

    If not, apples and oranges...

Also, fees with international exchanges are fractions of 1%. NZ does not have many options/operators and so fees are relatively high.

No I mean on my trading platform. Some currency pairs are offered at between 1 and 3 pips. Maybe thats .1% but even then that is pretty good.

If you are talking about sending cash or currency, then yes apples and oranges.
