Rave scene>MDMA > Dance/Trance Music> ChillZone for overheated dehydrated dances> Chill beats to listen to while rehydrating>evolving to clever, groovy, creative, intelligent >Down Beat Genre music. >>>>>Tosca- album Suzuki a great album to start with, hasn't aged a bit.

yes its in my physical collection but a bit too cryogenically chill for my taste

say as an alternative something from DJ Bone who I saw live in London a few years ago. (a good few) .

Thanks had a listen but not for me or Downbeat Genre, sounds like high bpm trance dance stuff to my ears. Another classic Down beat artists are Kruder and Dorfmeister. Im focusing on Eletronica atm mostly Ambient, Chill and Downbeat.

it might be a bit trancey at times I guess but Bone is not a trance DJ, for that try Armin van Buuren.

Yeh I love the K & D sessions oh lordy is that good.

For ambient you could go for a throwback to Brian Eno?

Yes mainly his earlier stuff, Music For Films/Airports/ Land etc. Discovered a real gem recently a great ambient record by him and Jah wobble ,"Spinner"seems an undiscovered, forgotten ambient album up with the others. Some of his later stuff and collaborations are very hit and miss, patchy imo. My Life In The bush Of Ghosts with D Byrne an exceptional exception, a magnificent blend of genres, thrashed that to bits.

Saw him at Auck way back a double header with Jan hammer, brilliant, LIVE.Find his albums very patchy though, no quality control imo.

This is mind-blowing ly good in idea, film sound, direction, production and musicianship.
