First time I've heard the term. A quick Google check and it is indeed used in the salmon industry. Towards the bottom of the page of this link: https://salmonbusiness.com/high-harv...-heavy-salmon/ I've seen it written as farmgate in Europe and farm-gate in the US. So yes it would be a good analysis point if it's available. There are some quite good comments in today's Chris Lee Newsletter on NZK: https://www.chrislee.co.nz/taking-stock These comments are of a more general nature and summarise things quite well I thought. Hope he doesn't mind me linking to it here.
