swl got taken over for $1.285 a share. that was first announced as a possibility on june 26. it consisted as a special dividend of 44.5c and a consideration of 84c
it delisted at a higher price than this. if i was a swl holder, i wouldnt see it as a good deal. $1.37 is higher than $1.285

that is what it looks like anyway. i will re check. stockness monster changed the way it works to something that is a pain from something that wasnt which doesnt help.

a public company "X" exists. it is taken over by another entirely "Y". the shares are distributed as deemed appropriate. development money is made "Y" to "X" . "X" issues dividends, which i still assume are non taxable.

is this possible?
