Default Filter Broker Picks for very basic technical analysis

First N.Z. FPH, CEN, SML, XRO and TGH all fail and all trading below their 100 day MA.

Forbar - CBL looks okay for a TA perspective as does THL, (hold), FPH, see above, EVO ?, IFT, NO, (what a shocker !).

Vulcan Capital PEB, yes, PIL yes, Tru Test , no, Turners yes, (hold) N.Z. Salmon, ticker code, thanks Percy, too young for reliable TA.

JB Were Fonterra yes, Evolve ?, FPH No, MFT yes, CEN, no.

Craigs CEN no, Fonterra yes, Gentrack ?[ MFT yes, RBD no

Hamilton Hinden Green Rym no, GNE no, FPH no, Chorous and Opus Int Consultants ?

Hobson Wealth Management FPH no, MFT yes, RBD no, Trustpower no, Vista group no

MSL Capital Markets AIA no, Green Cross Health no, Heartland ? Plexure no, Synlait no.

So there's a simple 100 day MA filter run over the broker picks.

Highlighted stocks are ones I will look further into as possible acquisitions in 2017 based on meeting or possibly meeting basic 100 day MA, not currently held and are not obviously disqualified for other reasons I'm currently aware of in terms of my own personal investment criteria.

    Please DYOR.

NZX - Few more listings, new revenue streams who knows, a punt
    OGC - Gold/Copper to outperform in 2017
RBC - I always tend to pick them, awaiting the complex and prolonged TEN saga to unwind at some stage, some value in all this...maybe
XRO - Expand, expand expand, at some point might wanna book a profit, can it turn around back towards previous highs?

Thanks again for running the comp

OK, I see OGC being delisted from the NZX.

    Please replace with THL

    Cheers

Hi Klid. Please can I have my representative portfolio for 2017 as follows:

CEN: 'farmed' energy business (something that everyone needs) with dry/wet year robustness at a reasonable share price. Good divie payer.
RBD: value added food staple with three promising growth paths (Carl's Junior in NZ, 'Pizza Hut'/'Taco Bell' in US Pacific Islands and KFC in Australia, both with acquired businesses which retain proven local management).
SKC: the forgotten 'tourism share' should bounce back in Auckland with a 'Lion's Roar' in 2017. Problems in the Chinese high roller business has reduced share price to reasonable levels.
SKL: well capitalised business, coming off dairy and mining market (particularly iron ore) lows. Mercedes driveshaft contract for China potentially a game changing breakthrough for Italian arm.
SPK: The perennial 'go to' player for telecommunications services in NZ. Progress leveraging their strong mobile market position. Good dividend payer.

    SNOOPY

PS I am continuing to note why I am invested in they above companies. This is in the interests of keeping myself honest if company circumstances change.
