And then all the talking heads will go "what happened?" "how did this happen" again and again, replay 2016 head scratching and disbelief. Will be very interesting to see liberal heads exploding yet again and a whole lot of denial.

    Default Trump going to war?

Pretty scary stuff happening in the Near East ... and, as usual in any war - the truth is the first victim, though one could argue it died already a long time ago.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/19/o...-conflict.html

Trump broke the contract with the Iran. He is the deal breaker and bully in chief, nobody else.

He uses his power to harass Iran to the maximum extent ... but expects that they are sticking to an agreement he himself broke.

And now it appears low level violence is escalating. First some tankers attacked - and hey, it might have been Iran, but it might have been as well somebody trying to frame them. Israel? Saudi Arabia? US? Who knows, remember - Trump is a crook and a liar.

An US drone downed. Was it over Iranian territory or over international waters? Who knows? Remember - while we have no reason to trust the words of the Iranian strongmen, Trump is as well an untrustworthy liar, crook and bully and he collected a nice crowd of crooks and liars around himself.

Quite frightening to think about what the endgame might be ... but so far it appears that neither the Mullahs nor the bully in chief have a face saving exit strategy.

Going for another Afghanistan, are we Donald? I just hope that the other Western countries don't follow this idiot into war ...

He was elected on that.. one of his many election promises he has kept. You can not blame him for breaking that horrible deal with Iran.

You mean people elected him because he promised to be a crook? You might well be right - and yes, once a crook and deal breaker, always a crook and deal breaker.

But yes, if people will die in this conflict, their blood will be not just on Trump's hands but on the hands of all of his supporters.

But to offset that, he's going to cure cancer he claims in a preview of his newly written comedy, provided he gets another term.

Well, yes - he clearly must have noticed and is now exploiting the average intelligence of his supporters.

Ah well, life is not fair.

Is that right, what about those that support Biden? You do know he said exactly the same thing 2 days before and here there are on CNN saying he can do it.

HAHA Trump can make fools of people thousands of miles away without even trying. The guy is not only the best president, he's also a comic genius.

This picture sums a couple of posters in this thread.

Hilarious see ing the trumpet explaining about drones telling us no one was on the shot down one.
A little depressing seeing how much funding he raised in 24 hours $24.8 Million Raised in 24 Hours: Trump Adds to His Financial Advantage
Dumbing down the planet and denying climate change reminds of a classic led Zeppelin song "Dazed and Confused".

Default A Trump Riddle for you ...

Found this in my Inbox - and if it's on the internet it must be true ... and if it's not true, it could be true - I guess Donald over anybody else knows how to appreciate alternative facts, doesn't he?

I wonder though whether he would be able to understand it. Can you?

This explains what is going on at The White House.

Donald Trump went to London and met with the Queen.

"Your Queenship, " he asked her. "I am finding things way more difficult than I could have imagined.
May I ask you - how do you run such an efficient government? Are there any tips you can give me?"

"Well," replied Her Majesty, "the most important thing is to surround yourself with intelligent people."

Trump frowned. "But how do you know the people around you are really intelligent?" he asked.

"Oh, that's easy" the Queen replied. "You just ask them to answer an intelligent riddle".

She pushed a button on her intercom. "Please send Theresa May in here."

The Prime Minister walked into the room. "You called for me, Your Majesty?"

"Answer me this, if you would, Theresa. " the Queen said. "Your mother and father have a child.
It is not your brother and it is not your sister. Who is it?"

Without pausing for even a second, Theresa May answered, "That would be me."

"Yes! Very good," said the Queen.

Trump went back home, returned to the White House and the very next day called for Mike Pence
    to come and see him.

Pence duly trotted in to the Oval Office. "Mike, answer this for me,' said the Don.
"Your mother and your father have a child. It's not your brother and it's not your sister. Who is it?"

"I'm not sure," said Pence. "Let me get back to you on that one.

Pence went panicking off to his advisers and asked everyone, but none of them could give him an answer.

The next night, as it happened, Pence ran in to Hillary Clinton in a restaurant. By now, desperate for
an answer to give to his tyrannical boss, he approached her much to her surprise.

"Hillary, I know we haven't always seen eye to eye but I would really appreciate it if you could answer
    this riddle for me

"Sure, Mike "Hillary said. "I'm not one to hold a grudge. What is it?"

"Thanks, said Pence," It's this. Your mother and father have a child and it's not your brother or your
    sister. Who is it?"

Hillary answered right back, "That's easy, it's me!"

    Pence smiled, "Thanks!"

Pence then went back to speak with Trump. "Say, boss, I did some research and I have the answer
to that riddle. It's Hillary Clinton."

Trump got up, stomped over to Pence, and angrily yelled at him. "No, you idiot! It's Theresa May!"

... AND THAT, MY FRIENDS, IS PRECISELY WHAT'S GOING ON AT THE WHITE HOUSE.

It's funny because the joke hints that Hillary Clinton is smarter than Trump, yet look who in the Whitehouse :-)

... just to make sure people don't forget that Trump is not a laughing matter. He must be the most corrupt president in US history.

President Trump, his family and more than a few of his appointees are using his presidency to enrich themselves. They are spending taxpayer dollars for their own benefit. They are accepting sweetheart deals from foreigners. And they are harnessing the power of the federal government on behalf of their businesses.

There’s a word for this: corruption.

Given how widespread Trumpian corruption has become, we thought it was time to make a list. It’s meant to be a definitive list of self-dealing by the president, his family, his staff or his friends — since he began running for president. To qualify, an incident needs to seem highly credible, even if it remains unresolved, and needs to involve making money.
Pretty revolting stuff. Here is the list - if anything is missing, please let the NYT know (and feel free to add in this thread as well) ...
