Report from one of the US American concentration camps ...
A migrant detention center in the U.S., filled with misery
Lawmakers return to Washington today after a weeklong recess, preparing to confront the accounts of squalor in detention facilities at the border with Mexico.
One run by Customs and Border Protection in Clint, Tex., has become the public face of the border chaos. A review of the center’s operations reveals that hundreds of children were housed there in cramped cells for weeks with no supplies to clean themselves. They sometimes slept on the floor, went hungry, and suffered through outbreaks of scabies, shingles and chickenpox.
The review shows that the agency’s leadership knew for months of the conditions. Its own agents raised the alarm.
I find it hard to understand that fellow human beings are supporting and applauding these conditions and the crooks running this regime. But it fits to the title of this thread ... how low can one go ...?

What these despicable human beings don’t have the intelligence to comprehend, is the level of trauma these children (and families) will be experiencing. That trauma will be huge and will be long lasting. The situation is unforgivable and those who are enabling it to continue, and those who support, should be ashamed of themselves.

Quite amusing: Everybody can see that the guy running the white house is ways out of his depth and any ambassador doing their job had to communicate this to his/her government.

I'm sure glad we're not residing in the US of A today where coloured skin women and congresswomen at that were told to go back somewhere. How much lower can this Vulgar_ian comedian occupying the WH go?

Given 3 of the 4 'come from' the USA (born in the USA) he really does have the wrong end of the stick - not for the first or last time.
His real estate company tried to avoid renting apartments to African-American tenants. He described “laziness” as “a trait in blacks.” He called for five black and Latino teenagers to be executed — and then insisted on their guilt even after DNA evidence proved their innocence.
He rose to prominence in the Republican Party by questioning the citizenship of the first black president. He launched his presidential campaign by saying Mexican immigrants were “rapists.” His political organization created a television advertisement that Fox News pulled for being too racist.
He frequently criticizes prominent African-Americans for being unpatriotic, ungrateful, disrespectful or unintelligent. He mocks Native Americans and uses anti-Semitic stereotypes. He retweets white nationalists. He said that a violent white supremacist march included some “very fine people.” He regularly appoints people with a history of racist comments.
And over the weekend, he told four nonwhite members of Congress — all citizens, of course, and three of them born in the United States — to “go back” to where they came from.
President Trump doesn’t just make racist comments. He is a racist. He’s proven it again and again, over virtually his entire time as a public figure. His bigotry is a core part of his worldview, and it’s been central to his political rise.
I couldn't have expressed it better. Donald Trump is a sad old racist - but this is not the problem. We all know that there are bad and weird people around and he is one of them. The problem is that he knows that he is gaining votes with his sickening stance.
Did America really went that low? Any decent people left on the Republican side? Now would be the time to tell him off instead of staying under the rock ...

It was only a matter of months ago that the POTUS called an national emergency at he southern boarder.
The usual haters on this forum chanted the MSN line that there is no emergency and Trump is a racist.
Everyone now agrees Trump was right. While you where so busy hating on Trump real children where suffering.
"Cross the boarder with a child and you stay"....
This law means something very different to someone form NZ trying to go to Aust than someone trying to go from Mexico to the USA.
If you think criminals aren't exploiting this law and children aren't suffering, getting dragged across the boarder, raped and murdered because of it... you're dreaming.
Hate Trump as much as you want, but don't kid yourself that you are better than him just because you go after him. He is a very small part of a very big problem, simply being against him doesn't give you the moral high ground.

Nor does being against him, or being against anybody else for that matter, make you a hater. I do not like Trump, nor do I trust him, but I certainly don't hate him. However I do pity him.

Maybe Trump should explain issues better rather than short tweets.
Also, how do you trust anything a person who constantly lies says?
He doesn't even realise that he lies.
Looks like the Meuller testify hopes all but dashed. Mueller looked bad, like he was hiding something. That he did not know what Fusion GPS was, well just beggars belief.
Anyway betting markets now have Trump at 2.04 to be the next pres in 2020 and the Republicans have drawn level with democrats at 2 evens. This is not even going to be close if things carry on the way they do.
The democrats are screeching left as fast as you can say hello and are outdoing themselves to be as "woke" as the next idiot out there. Going to hurt them when the real people get out there to vote.

I nearly fell off my seat when he stumbled over the Fusion GPS question.
Imagine how much better off America would be today if the left spent half as much energy on MAGA as they have on going after Trump.
