    Who here owns Cochlear? and Why are you still holding into them.

    6 mth earnings ending 31 Dec 2008...

    Revenue - Up 19% to $355.2million
    NPAT - Up 22% to $69.9million
    EPS - Up 22% to $1.26
    Core earnings up 20% to $74.4million
    Intrim div up 14% to 80cents per share - fully franked
    F09 Guidance - Core earnings to grow between 15 & 20%

    COH ..... some astroanalysis to the end of June 2009 .....

    ..... was expecting some minor news earlier this week, but
    it hasn't surfaced, as yet.

    28-29042009 ..... minor and positive light on COH

    04052009 ..... significant and positive cycle

    11-12052009 ..... positive time cycle ... finance-related ???

    2905-01062009 ..... minor and positive cycle, here.

    12-16062009 ..... 2 minor time cycles come together - finances?

    19-22062009 ..... minor and positive news expected here

    29-30062009 ..... negative spotlight on COH

    Seems like a decent result out today. Revenue down slightly but apart from that all the figures looking good.
    Company is flagging 15% growth for the full year. Market seems to like it on an otherwise bad day.
    Dividend going up 19%

    A few years ago was tossing up whether to buy cochlear or csl (the blood one) Luckily i chose Cochlear , seems to be going along very nicely

    This has got to be really abnormal for this company - bad news coming or just a bad day with stop losses being hit??

    there was a profit warning ...... down 18% it said ,,,, and shares fell the same

    $100m odd changed hands ..... that's a good day for the NZX when it is open

    Sure is a long way from $80+ back in Feb...

    Notice today re selldown by Bank of New York Mellon and a notice from COH re new sound processor plus trading update.

    What was that; you'll have to speak LOUDER. Agree re PEB sold most of mine for good money but hope it works out. Proven Healthcare rather than bio stocks i mean.RMD,AVEO ,EHE , CSL, FPH, RYM for ex
