Beagle/Couta and See Weed all in the top 10, looks like it's the year of exuberance.

Not to forget me ol mate Crackity. Early days though and definitly not time to start the tail wagging yet. Tail wags when my portfolio is up a minimum of 25% and not before.

A guy on the radio this morning that history shows that the Year of the Dog (Chinese years) have been the years with the greatest average gains over the last 50 years or so

Hmmm... Beagle, Couta and Crackity ALL very keen on their dogs, (the furry ones not the dogs in their portfolio lol)
Watched CNBC show yesterday called Top Dog before heading down to ST meeting. All about the year of the dog. Dog's are known for their loyalty and also defensive properties, (guard dog's) so the theme is to be loyal to your shareholdings in good companies but adopt a defensive overall market position.
In other words don't hold any dog's unless they are of the fur variety

Not for long, looking at HLG sp last couple of days. It will go back up end of March and beginning of April. This is a very tight com. with contestants similar picks. Last week I was at no.124, this week at no. 9. But as long as we are all making $'s and having fun.

My prediction...If a2 don't pull back too much looks like Beags is gonna be top dog next week and fully deserves it with the amount effort and time he puts into this forum. Then Crac, Not Rog, Lman, Cout, sw, Waik, Xer, Moo, and Sylv. Top Ten. But then again, it will all change? the week after

Thanks mate, very kind of you to say. Not sure about the top dog thing, probably just a temporary fluke if it happens but one things for sure, anyone who hasn't got ATM as one of their picks is likely to have a relatively bad week compared to those who have it !
Might score the quinella if SUM's sums look good tomorrow

Well well, looks like the dogs have risen to the top....could it be that a Beagle is in both #1 and #2, with a lawnmower following closely in 3rd hoovering up the dog poop?
Couta 1 is 7th, with this lowly pussycat in 9th place and a rooster hot on my tail.
Full results will be on the website soon: https://sites.google.com/view/sharet...icks-2018/home

    Lawnmower man ATM SUM SML PPH HLG $10,000 $11,454 $0 $1,454 14.5% 94.8% 3

Should add that THL, SUM, HLG and ATM appear to be the themes of the fortnight so far...

Incidentally, Sharetrader Top 5 now in 25th place - very close to Craig's. So there is something to be said for "collective wisdom".
MSL brokers slipped from 1st to 61st. Their's did seem to be a very short-term game...
