I would argue that being used for drugs etc legitimises it as a currency minimoki, wouldn't you agree? Just like the gold old USD

looking at that picture with all the that cash,
is that cash able to be spent without some authority asking questions or investigating?
could you buy a farm or hotel or 100 kg of gold etc with pure cash no questions asked?
if i was to sell my farm i would be very hesitant to accept a pile of cash for it.
in this age of governments getting hard on money laundering and pure cash purchases,
how can someone actually use a large volume of bank notes?
the most cash i have seen is $14000 when my neighbour sold his sports car.
am i silly in thinking that large amounts of paper cash is potentially tainted?
or is suitcases full of cash for big purchases normal among the rich?

    serious questions... i am curious.

Bitcoin’s mammoth rally suffered a devastating setback on Friday when a $35 million sell order triggered a vicious flash crash on Bitstamp

Just trying to do my bit. At $7,100 Bitcoin back to where it was a year ago.

Interesting to look at the massive volumes that have gone through in the past week. Peaked around $34.8b compared with $23.4 at peak of bubble. Biggest pump in history of BTC.

If I had any, I'd say oops! Doubt if there'll ever be any opps with bitcoin.

The SEC has again delayed it decision on the SolidX Bitcoin EFT Filing. The SEC have said they are instituting proceedings on whether to approve or disapprove a rule change that would allow VanExk SolidX Bitcoin Trust to issue and list shares.

The new deadline set is the 19th Aug, it can be delayed one more time meaning a final deadline of the 18th Oct.

Institutional money has slowly been entering the market for sometime now readying itself for this. The first BTC EFT will be approved within 6 months.
BTC will be 6 figures within 24 months.

That reminds me, I loved simple minds.

I understand he brought the car he used from a car dealership and paid cash, he also filled it with petrol the night before, again paying cash.
I guess Mobile, car dealerships and the RBNZ will have some questions to answer.
