SXY 40 cents to 50 cents by year end = 12.5%
STX 11 cents to 22 cents =100%
BRU no change
BUL 5.6 cents to 11.2 cents =100%
RLE 9.3 cents to 18.6 cents =100%

Total 325% divide by 5 = +65% less current position -5% = end of year +60 %

Well I esp agree on RLE but think it should well be much higher than just 100% higher if gas-flows are good..personal I'm targeting 30c-45c depending on flow rates and the market sentiment

I see looking over ASX comps since 2004 Ricky99 18.81% in 2011 was the lowest winning comp result ... will 2018 be lower hopefully not!

Also don't forget guys winning prize $450 runner-up $50

Now if RLE booms on Gas results my RLEOA will fly ..and I should make $120k AUD+ if so and I win a prize I'll be putting it up for the 2019 ASXcomp .... Good chance we would then be tapping on $1000NZD prize pool(If I take the $450) now that might well get a good turnout ?

I will be starting up a 2019 thread at the start of December.
Is anyone unhappy with any aspect of the rules for this year.
It seems to have been a rubbish year this year based on the number of people who are positive at the moment.


1 - no stocks under 1c will be accepted.
2 - Dividends will be added to return.
3 - 5 stock picks only.
4 - no options etc.
5 - each stock pick will have a weighting of $10,000 (20% of portfolio)... ($50,000 in total for portfolio)...
so performance can be posted in percentage returns, and/or $ returns.
6 - entries close at midnight sunday 14th January 2018.
7 - entry price is the higher of the first-traded price from the day following you posting your selections and the first traded price
on the first trading day of the year. This discourages late comers from optimising their entry price during the 2 week grace period.
8 - if one of your picks hasn’t listed or is in suspension at the start of year we will just take the first traded price on the day that it lists or comes out of suspension.
9 - takeovers will result in a new pick to the contestant, at the adjusted rate.
10. at any time a ticker may be converted to cash but must be bought back into before the end of the year - same ticker.
if in cash when suspended or taken over or otherwise unavailable by year end : cash. may not be swapped for another ticker
