Percy indeed it appears I am wrong. However I believe I did see at least two posters state they were posting $10.
    I believe the probable 2017 winner paid $20..maybe $30 ?...
And as you probably know the probable winner is giving it to a child cancer victim(s)...
    Any suggestions ?
    Cheers.

Thanks again for taking on the 2018 comp.

My selections this year very straight forward, all companies i hold, as my spin out selections last year didn't count, bugger about ARL....

    1. GOR - GOLD company fully funded to production, in development phase after selling 50% of project for $A350m, production Q1 2019, but a massive A$30m, Greenfields exploration budget around the area they have already found a resource over 6m/oz+ and growing.

    2. ISX - Patented identity verification technology, linked with payment processing and payment facilitation capability, converging payments and identity into our Paydentity™ service. In growth mode and 2018 should see it rerate, my wildcard. Worth reading recent presentation for a run down...

    3. NMT - Lithium production already + higher value Lithium downstream products re battery technology, multiple projects utilizing their IP and partnership with ASX;MIN. Value is in the downstream projects that will progress during the year, no debt, plenty of cash, Mgmt hold blocking stake.

    4. TLM - Copper company in development, first production maybe Q4, own 30% of the project, with SFR other 70%, small amount of debt to cover the modest capital costs, rapid payback, excellent IRR on the worlds highest grade copper deposit. Also own a 350ktpa Nickel processing plant with estimated replacement cost of A$120m purchased off Glencore few years back. Upside is in Cu/Ni exploration, seems off the radar at present too.

    5. WSA - Low cost Nickel producer, embarking on a new high value project to supply Ni for the EV industry, a possible 3rd mine to come online, and with the general sentiment changing, with Ni set to play a huge part of the new EV battery technology, i expect the Ni price to increase. No debt, $140m cash.

With 2018 likely to be more volatile than 2017, cash/cash flows is king

$20 entry fee sent to JBMURC

    jennym and JBmurc to clarify:
Entering the prize for 2018. Jbmurc has an account kindly available for use by this group. Refer 2017 [some extracts from posts below]. It is

    "JBmurc" 12-3405-0035299-50

look through the early 2017 posts and this years posts for further clarification or jennym.

    jennym post #34 2017
Donating $5 each is a good idea. Donations are not compulsory.
I could set up a bank acct unless someone has an un used one sitting around already. JBmurc, would you be happy
to use your spare account? I do not think $5 is too much.
Having vouchers as the prize is in my mind the best. You get a prize and it is easily posted. The winner should choose the type of voucher, it is easy to
do. The holder and controller of the bank acct would buy and post them. The holder of the bank acct should be allowed to take out their expenses.
    These should be tiny though.
The top donator wins the prize. This is to encourage more donations. Normally the donations would be in by jan 15. This year, I am a wee bit late so donations in by end of jan. EG, if 1/2 way through the year, you see yourself coming last then you would be less likely to donate.

    Jbmurc post $36 2017
Yes that's fine by me jenny ...got a ASB savings call account with nil costs I don't use - 12-3405-0035299-50 think it will even return 2.75% interest
will be putting in $30 in myself early next year to go to the winner of the 2017 comp .... and will be sending out a new world voucher to the 2016 winner (or not if I win ..... be great if we could get everyone into the spirit of the comp with a small donation ...
