Great post and yes indeed a good time of year to count one's blessings.
Speaking of things free and blessings lets not forget what this time of year really celebrates, the free gift of salvation through the birth of Jesus Christ https://godsabundantblessings.com/ta...-gods-love-is/ from whom the best blessings come.
Remiss if speaking of things free that bless us if we didn't thank Admin, Vince, and STMOD for their work behind the scenes too.
Ecclesiastes 11:2: “Divide your portion to seven, or even to eight, for you do not know what misfortune may occur on the earth.”

"So this is Christmas
And what have you done
Another year over
And a new one just begun.
And so this is Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
The old and the young.
A very Merry Christmas
And a happy new year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear"

And so this is Christmas
for weak and for strong
The rich and the poor ones,
the road is so long
And so happy Christmas
for black and for white
For yellow and red ones
let's stop all the fights
