Well if I should win this competition then I am going to donate my prize money to wiz to compensate him for having to deal with idiots who can't/don't follow a few simple rules.

I agree that it must be exasperating ..the rules were clearly defined late last year and you gave any number of warnings early this year. It’s a fun competition, but we should all follow these rules to make it a level field.

No. It is well after the close date. It is worth reading the rules at the begining of the competition.
It was started late november last year.

at this point in time it is an 11 month competition with special exemptions being made for certain individuals and the others are NOT being asked or allowed to make changes. enforce the rules - clearasmud and schrewd crude have their original picks - both with an invalid ticker, lissica rabbi and bermuda miss out.

my opinion:

either - enforce the rules

or - start again beginning of February - give everyone the same chance.

at the moment 40 - 42 people do not have a say and are unequal in this competition

I have been following this comp for yonks and enjoy it. I am thankful for all the work that goes in. It brings people together. I am sorry that I was tardy but I will keep you posted. It is hard out there. People don't like oil and it could cause problems. Plus we are living in a very different world with an immense Middle East explosion due.

Enjoy the comp. I will be watching. Congrats to Hoyinma and JB for 2018 and to all top ten places.

I really appreciate, as I am sure most posters do, the time and effort that wiz and jennym put into this competition. I am more than happy for a little less democracy and a bit more autocracy on their part. They run it and so should call the shots. Obviously it is nigh impossible to please all the people all of the time.
You will have my full support whatever you want to do. You are at the heart of it. You know what is best. Just handle it and I can more than live with that.
