Yeah..met one of my ex colleague yesterday., Work for tourists place...he said...all yours have been cancelled... Quiet as .... normally it the busiest season.

See Cathay airline is asking their staffs to take leave till June.

Good time to travel end of year...might be a cheaper air ticket end of year...so looking forward to big holiday sales..

From memory of the prospectus tourism was 5% of nph business. Logs are the big profit line

Just checked out the prospectus again for giggles.

    Revenue breakdown
74% logs and wood pulp and timber.
Rest is pipfruit, meat and other.

Heavily weighted to exports (rather than imports) 5:1

I expect an update from the company soon to downgrade 2020 EBITDA expectations from $40m odd to "unknown" or to a range of $25-$35 or something, with the resulting uncertainty to smash the shareprice down through $3.20 towards $2.50 in the short term.

I dont think I would buy in again unless we see $2 or there abouts.

    Disc. I dont hold currently

I was wondering when they would announce this. I had heard from workers that it was slowing down.

Pretty ‘uncertain’ the impact on profitability eh

I see a multi year slowdown for napier port. Still aiming for the $2 price in 12 months...

Yeah this will get hit hard, I sold out a few months back based on valuation, it was trading way to highly for it's growth prospects and current profitability. I still like the asset but I suspect if this Coronavirus starts spreading rapidly throughout the US and Europe this and many other stocks will trade significantly lower.
