    AQZ raising capital.
    So many opportunities.
    So many new customers.
So many planes for them to buy.[at bargain prices]
    And at $2.95...Incredible.
Please AQZ don't buy AIR NZ....lol.

FIFO operations going bang busters and I like the last line of the update regarding " being in a position to take advantage of significant opportunities ".

90% aussie owned and 8% kiwi owned... which I found interesting too.

All bodes well for an interesting time ahead.

    Disc: Happy holder.
Interesting to see they are 8% kiwi owned. To bad they don't come this side of the ditch and shake things up but I'm guessing they are smarter than that.

Most of that 8% is owned by ex Air Works Hugh Jones.

Not much chance of that! They are way too smart!!!
Need to have a look at the investor presentation but from very first glance my gut reaction was I thought $2.95 sounded a little expensive?

Obviously he is a smart operator. He certainly made a success of Airwork. Coincidently I worked for Airwork in 79, pre Hugh.

Yes $2.95 is a hefty price.
However $122 mil will go a very very very long way in today's buyers market.https://stocknessmonster.com/announc...asx-2A1230139/

Huge sell off in airline stocks yesterday in NZ and Aussie and especially overnight in the US... This SPP portion of the capital raise may very well come at quite a discount to the $2.95 placement announced yesterday..
We may be well positioned as retail investors come our turn to stump up the cash 😊

Full A$91.9m raised through placement at A$2.95 per share without any need for underwriters to turn on their internet banking (other than to check the Underwriting Fee has been paid).

Share price held up well, however as US sell off was on fears of a second wave of COVID-19, then arguably is positive for the AQZ proposition.

SPP does provide opportunity for downside risk protection over the next few weeks due to issue price formula while enabling a free carry on upside. Limited risk of scaling given A$30m sought from just 1,500 shareholders (based on 2019 annual report statistics).
