    Default ZNO Corvid19 Stock

This is a kiwi stock listed on ASX. Been lifting off in recent months on announcement of numerous deals and strong revenue growth. The announced on Friday that products effective against Corvid-19
Not for the faint hearted at prices and volatility but if you're not frightened of risk, this may well turn out to be a very rewarding up another 14% today so far

Is this just good marketing or what "Zoono products use purified, deionized water & an antimicrobial compound.

We use a Quaternary Ammonium Compound – these are commonly used antibacterial agents found in products such as toothpaste, contact lens products, cosmetics, soaps."

What products contain quaternary ammonium compounds?
QUATs can be found in shampoos, toilet cleaners, hand soap, shaving cream, baby wipes, body wash, sunscreens, moisturizers, disinfectant sprays, liquid fabric softeners, anti-cling dryer sheets, disinfectants, and spermicidal jellies [1] [3].

Yeah I personally think a lot of hype and speculation. I looked at it on Friday and I considered it more of a gamble than investment personally so held back. Missed out on the 14% but doesn't fit my criteria currently :/

I'm wondering if you missed out an important piece of information namely the last bit?.

While our quaternary ammonium compound originates from natural sand the process is synthetic.
Our trade secret lies in the technology behind the quaternary ammonium compound which enables Zoono to stay active and continue killing pathogens for long periods of times.

I think having products tested as 99.99% effective against Corvida-19 is a lot more than just clever marketing.
I have zero understanding of the products and science, but pretty impressed to see all the deals they have entered into in the last few months which suggests to me there is some substance to their IP

I totally agree, that this is a highly speculative stock

Take a listen to a recent interview with the CEO here: https://www.eurekareport.com.au/inve...navirus/146867

Seems highly speculative, bought the product, not the stock

Thanks zgnz I did and well worth a listen. Seems to me, the core value proposition of this product is that you only need to use it less frequently versus for instance others sanitisors where you are using it multiple times a day. I feel because of the current pandemic threat, there is almost certainly going to be a very fast step change in behaviour whereby people are going to start becoming obsessed with hand washing and using sanitisor. Possibly only a shorter term thing, or maybe not?? Also very interesting that the hotel chains are moving on it as would save costs, but also make customers feel better about staying.
Their IP isn't patent protected but rather by trade secret so that is a risk.
However sounds like the big consumer product/drug companies may not want to try and copy it as they make a lot of money by having consumers using their products on a high repeat basis i.e multiple times /day. like ink cartridges on printers.
Still a risk, although they took many years to get the technology stable to be suitable for commercialisation so may take a while for someone to crack the code.
Sales growth impressive $4m in 4 week versus $1.7m for whole of last year and now profitable. Also other suppliers are running out of sanisters because of panic buying so they are selling a lot of product at the moment.
He says they have just bought 1000 litres of the concentrate which translates to 100,000 litres of final product. Elsewhere $11 /litre is mentioned,so this translates to product with a wholesale value of $110m
However the market cap is currently $360m
This is a pretty interesting story to follow if nothing else.

    If $11/;Liter then only $1,000,000?

Yes you are right, decimal point in wrong place. That changes thinking a lot

Struggling to keep up with demand at the moment, that’s a good thing.

Market update. These guys sold over $11m in the month of April, compared to $15m in the previous quarter and just $1-2 million in each of the the 2 quarters before this.
Impressive list of clients using their product to fight Covid-19 including Rentokil, Bunzyl, London Underground. Lots of multi year distribution deals being announced. Fair to say the credibility of their product is now unquestionable.

Main question to consider is what sales will look like in a post pandemic world.

This stock doesn't look as speculative as it did 6-7 weeks ago
