Take care, especially with second hand interpretations of the data.
    Keep an eye on QEX.

If you are an Ardern fan - her and Labour are looking great for the next election.

Anyone care to guess the odds of Bridges lasting to the election?
Nothing quite like the prospect of (in this case ) a Nat MP losing their job after the next election to start the mutiny in earnest.

Some makes sense and some would be just silly.
People won't be willing to pay more for NZ made - for long anyway.
Cars weren't 'manufactured' here for a long time - they were assembled.
Imagine trying to start manufacturing a range of TVs and phones etc - laughable.

Morgan & Stanley see the Covid-19 effect on the world economies beginning to 'bottom-out."

Now if only that were true!

    Read it here.

I think his odds are reasonably good if stands up like he did today regards the business loans. From here on in he needs to challenge the govt relentlessly.

Couldn't agree less. He should pull a page out of Andrew Little's book, 'How to survive in politics by choosing a lower rung on the ladder'. Self published but now out of print.

Mister Bridges is taking one for the team by taking the leadership until the donors have decided to parachute in when they think they have a good chance of winning.

    A good, loyal party man.

Yes, unfortunately their differences today, are purely theoretical and ideological. They both cow tow and pander to big business and
both throw money with impunity at welfare beneficiaries and other sectors which suck off the capitalist system, such as bloated
    government bureaucracies.
