How China is prepping for global financial meltdown
    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/new...ectid=12431623

"Preparing for"... and what about initiating black swans and meltdowns.

Also wondering how us small investors could prepare for future meltdowns.. Obviously dont be highly leveraged. What about where to invest extra funds on hand... are the trading banks safe or not. Would Kiwibank as a govt entity be safer than others? I have never bought physical gold but I hear its difficult to buy the physical stuff and there are big commissions involved I think. This is not to say that I am going to downsize immediately but over-time it would not hurt I'm sure

Uou'll note that the government had no qualms about throwing Solid Energy under the bus, so I wouldn't hold out much hope for kiwibank. . .
